If you watch the original application video, all the products were applied as per the instructions, and were applied in optimal conditions to remove as many variables as possible. I even used each brand’s specific panel prep spray to further make sure we don’t have chemical incompatibility or synergy issues. For this update, the vehicle was sitting outside all day in the freezing temperatures and we filmed the video shortly after my brother entered the garage. The panels were still super cold to the touch so perhaps that impacted the hydrophobic properties for some products. But they’re all clearly beading so they are fine. In a future update, I’ll have my brother come earlier in the day, to let the vehicle warm up in the garage for a few hours prior to doing the video so we’ll see if that changes anything.

When I apply a Ceramic Spray Coatings, I will follow up with there designated topper. As an example Armour with Amplify, Phoenix with Titam and so forth and so on. With normal proper maintenance all will hold up there designated time limit, as they are all very decent products, now if you abuse maintenance the one with the best properties will standout. Let see how this test Pan's out. No pun intended . One's mileage may differ depending on environment conditions.
@PanTheOrganizerКүн бұрын
Exactly. I have always said that product durability depends on many factors, including: - prep - application - maintenance - yearly mileage - weather/conditions where you live - garage kept car vs car kept in the elements 24/7 - bad product batch or not stored properly or product well past its expiry date or intended shelf life And so on and so forth. So the tests I do in my conditions allow me to see how well products do in those specific conditions. Results can absolutely be different for others with other conditions. I wish more product reviewers would mention these things.

My windshield wipers are stuttering like crazy after using a cermic coating on my wildshield. Any suggestions?
@PanTheOrganizerКүн бұрын
It can happen for many reasons. Often just one layer absorbs too much into the glass, and adding a second layer corrects that. I had stutter issues when we applied C6 Hydro Glass on my windshield, I applied a second layer and now it’s fine. Sometimes it’s the wiper blades which aren’t sitting truly perpendicular to the glass and will cause skipping. Sometimes you have to bend the wiper arms to stop that. See a good video explaining that here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bH2lh56rZZ1matksi=AbXoTfQbY54cFX3i Sometimes it’s improper preparation of the glass surface (decontamination, polishing, panel prep spray) or improper application of the coating. Sometimes it’s a faulty batch of products. Or perhaps just the product itself giving that issue. Hard to say until you start troubleshooting the variables.

I accidentally left my clean ceramic sealant , and phobic in the unheated garage . It has been quite cold there are unopened . Will they be okay if they froze?
@PanTheOrganizerКүн бұрын
The general consensus when it comes to detailing chemicals, especially paint protections, is that they will be affected by excessive heat or freezing temperatures, some perhaps more than others depending on the formulation and chemistry. So my recommendation to viewers is to always store their chemicals in a controlled environment following the manufacturer’s recommendations for storage and shelf life. Also keep in mind that most products are also only typically good for about a year as long as they’re kept in stable conditions and not frozen, or otherwise stated by the brand. Once opened, paint protections like ceramic coatings and ceramic spray coatings have a reduced shelf life, which is also normal and expected.

Bro… while I agree longer term updates are more beneficial, based on the install date of December 8th, it hasn’t even been two months. I’m pretty sure he’s queued up the update videos as they go along.
@PanTheOrganizerКүн бұрын
This video is more to share a baseline view of what the hydrophobic properties look like in the initial stages after application, so we can have a reference point in future updates. If I had only filmed an update say 2 months later, and one had completely failed, it would be impossible to know if it lasted two weeks, a month, or two months before failing. So before getting into later updates, one needs to start somewhere.
@cgraham6Күн бұрын
@@PanTheOrganizer Good to hear there are future updates coming, anyway. Still, if a coating completely fails after only two months, I think most people are going to cross it off their list so when it actually failed prior to that is just a footnote.

@@cgraham6 this 2 week update is the first time we're able to see what the coatings performed like after the fresh installation. Coatings don't typically just go from 100% to 0% in an instant. They degrade over time. You can't judge how a coating is degrading over time if you didn't document what it looked like initially. Since you can't test water behavior on the day the coating install/ video was done, this serves as that initial performance test

Gyeon can coat is the G.O.A.T. it just works. Also Pan, I've now tried your shampoo finally! 🇬🇧 It's excellent. I'm very happy with it. I watched your video on making great foam after John's attempt, I am also getting similar results as John. Although mine foam levels are slightly thicker. It's more like Bilt Hamber Touch-less snowfoam. Although foam is not a remotely concern for me as its just aesthetics. The shampoo chemicals are doing the hard work. As neutral shampoo it's very good, the most noticeable feature of Clean. shampoo is the level of lubrication- it's crazy levels of lubricity. It makes cleaning way more fun as the wash mitt glides over the panels. I also like the scent too. I think you've done a very good job. The foam is not an issue for me as the correct doseage of shampoo is more important for cleaning and lubrication. The price is quite high, that includes import taxes and white labeling. So it's something to consider. I'm really pleased. I also really like your paint sealant. Nice and easy to use, the result afterwards is nice, a nice warm glow from the paintwork. Great hydrophobics too. The panel prep is amazing - the scent is sooo good. You should make a long-lasting scent spray with that scent. 🏆
@PanTheOrganizerКүн бұрын
Thanks for the detailed feedback! I appreciate it. I’m glad to see you are having a great user experience overall. And yeah the lubrication is insane with the shampoo. :) For the foam, the updated instructions had been published to 1:10 ratio in the foam lance on the THOR USA and Canada websites, and soon on the UK site. So I would recommend that you try that. But yeah more foam doesn’t mean more cleaning. Do you know what your water hardness is? What pressure washer and foam cannon you were using? I would love that data. And just a clarification. You said the products are white labeled? They are not. They are contract blending which is very different, as it means I own the intellectual property of the formulas and they are made specifically for me. White labeling means you use a generic existing formula from a blender, just change the color and scent and put your label on it. I didn’t want that. I wanted to have my own chemicals made from the ground up custom for just me. :) Cheers mate and thanks for your support of the CLEAN By Pan brand! I appreciate it. 👍🏻

@PanTheOrganizer Sorry, I meant contract blending!! 🤦 I'm not fussed about the foam. I do get foam from Clean. Its reasonable, more then double what John was getting, but not shaving foam thick. More like a wet foam thats thin/medium. My TDS is around 230 so it's hard water, typical of the UK. There are only a few places that are soft here. I do have a DI vessel for rinsing, especially in the summer. I'm using a Nilfisk pressure E145 washer as it uses an aluminium cylinder head, making it durable with average pressure. In2detailing delux stubby gun. MJJC Pro V2.0. I recently replaced my hosepipe as the internals of the hose had collapsed, causing very low pressure output and a strain on my pressure washer pump. Now it's fine. I'm happy with your shampoo foam levels. I'm genuinely happy that it cleans well and the lubrication levels are off the scale rather then having thick foam. Its a win from me! I am thinking about getting a Kranzle soon, its an extra 100ltrs per hour on top of my Nilfisk so it would rinse shampoo away faster and I can get round the car easier. Plus a bit more pressure helps too.
