Thank you Claudia!!! You are a sweetheart! I also have one of those old school flat brushes to apply face masks. I see your point about the BK Beauty brush, it will be a slightly different experience. I wanted the slanted shape more for cream blush/bronzer/highligher and I think the Sonia G brush works really well for that. I don't have a large face so I like the more compact bundling for more precise application. I know BK has a smaller version of this brush too, I think that would have been perfect for me. The Bdellium Tools one actually looks like a worthy dupe of it.

@@bobmindset yes definitely would be easier for us in the EU. I presume they remove US taxes before applying the individual ones but I must admit I don’t really know 😅

The BK 101 is my favourite foundation brush too. I mainly apply foundation with my fingers but for certain foundations I prefer a brush. As much as I love my fude for powders, I prefer synthetics for creams & liquids.

Ah!! Since I have the eye and face brush sets from BK, I've set aside all my Sonia G an fude brushes. They are more practical, and I love the shape of 101 brush!

I also prefer bk 101 over jumbo base. I recommend getting the Angie hot n flashy travel set because it comes with the 101, the Angie concealer brush and a few other great Angie brushes.

Oh yes, I own the entire Angie’s set! Some brushes are valid, but my favorite BKB brush is 101 😘

I prefer synthetics for creams and liquids and love the hourglass brushes but they are expensive! Rose Inc, Rare Beauty and Units (very inexpensive available on Beautylish) have more similar slanted shapes to the BK one you showed but in different sizes. I use that shape but smaller for concealer and cream and liquid blush. I rarely wear foundation but I prefer the rounder top hourglass brush if I use a brush at all rather than fingers. The one natural hair brush I love for liquids is the Rephr 4 brush. I prefer it especially with the Daniel Sandler formula.

Smashbox have pretty much same shape foundation brush. It is good but I don’t know how it compare to BK or Sonia G same type brushes. I would like to know if someone have them. Thank you again for great video😊

A couple of weeks ago I just thought "f*ck it" and bought a bunch of brushes from Temu. I wanted the plastic crystal handle ones (won't get damaged from cleaning) from Clionadh, but most are sold out and won't be restocked. Temu has endless supply of brushes like that, I have two of the Clionadh ones and they don't seem to be of better quality than the Temu brushes. I bet they are from the same factory.

Yes, the brands I mentioned in the video are focused on brushes as their core business, so I expect from them higher quality and more unique designs. For many makeup brands, brushes instead are just accessories and they make use of white labels. But you may find gems there too ☺️😘

@@bobmindset I've suspected for a while that even the unique and nice looking brushes from several makeup brands are just white label. I have for several years doubled checked Aliexpress, ebay and now Temu to see if items I like are just priced up pre-made stuff for brands to slap their label on. The brushes that came with the Anastasia Beverly Hills palettes did get ugly faster than some of the brushes from cheaper brands I own. The paint has peeled of their wooden handles even though I'm trying to avoid getting water on the handle and dry them with the brush down. I see that the brands in your video have small smudge brushes 😲, for some reason smudge brushes have become difficult to find. Smashbox used to have these years ago, unfortunately I lost mine, I have been hunting like crazy for a new one. The Sonia G one is expensive, but I think I'll buy one from Sonia and one from BK to compare.
