They must have been pretty hard-nosed about it though. They had to just stand there and reload their rifles and keep the procedure up while people were dropping left and right. No time to grief, take cover or be scared that you might be next. You have to be numb and indifferent to make it through that.

@pieceofschmidtgames63894 жыл бұрын
in reenactments that follow historical lines, like this one, it is most likely based on who won the actual engagement. However, other reenactments that are not based on an actual battle may be decided before the "fighting" begins. All charges and melees will end like this or so for safety's sake.
@stephenn10563 жыл бұрын
Doing civil war reenacting, there are a few times where the confederates have been inclined to seemingly never take many casualties. There have been occasions where our captain has lost patience and ordered us to fix bayonets and charge, at least here they don't allow the usage of bayonets, so when bayonets have been ordered it generally causes them to fall back. But that's an entirely different situation than the european events

Luis Carlos Lopez Pedraza hello Sir, In order to join these events you must be part of a reenactment unit. You need to find one (it’s easier in your country) From there you’ll purchase your uniform (be ready to spend more than one thousand - I’ve already spent 2500 and it’s not complete yet) Then your unit will sign up to some events and you’ll eventually get to do this. I hope this helps
