Battle of Midway Dinner 2016

Admiral Henry Mauz, Jr. United States Navy (RET) spoke at the Battle of Midway Dinner held in San Francisco at the Marine Memorial Building. The admiral is the former commander of the United States Atlantic Fleet. The Battle of Midway changed the course of the Pacific war. Out gunned the US Navy defeated a much larger Japanese Armada. Historian Walter Lord said, "They had no right to win. Yet they did, and in doing so they changed the course of history...Even against the greatest odds, there is something in the human spirit - a magic blend of skill, faith and valor that can lift men from certain defeat to incredible victory."
