Of the deep conditioners you mentioned in this video, I've only tried the Manuka honey and JBCO deep conditioners. Of the two, the Manuka honey one is my favorite. My hair was so hydrated, defined, and moisturized after using it. All of which lasted for 3-4 days. I never had those results with any other deep conditioner and I was very happy with it. :)

My hair likes anything with slip which makes it easier to detangle and less time in the shower. I really love the moisture and slip that the Manuka honey gives. That's the best conditioner I used on my hair period... They said it even works better when heated which I haven't tried yet..

I've recently tried combining several products from different Shea Moisture lines and my 4c hair came out super soft. I washed with the Manuka Intensive Hydration shampoo. Conditioned for 15 min w/ Raw Shea Butter restorative conditioner. (Did the LOC method) My leave in was the JBCO Strengthen, Grow,&Restore Leave-in. My oil was EVOO, and moisturized with Coconut & Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie...I air dried with two strand twist rolled w/ perm rods and in the morning my curls were SITTING!!! Came back from work that night and my hair was still super moisturized. Curls turned into a puff due to the humidity here but still all good. I don't need any products retwisting for day 2 and 3 hair

Armoney Johnson hey girl, this is kinda old and I don't know if u found something that works for u or not but here goes. (This is really long) A natural hair journey is very personalized, u need to do what's best for ur hair. Pay attention to what u put in ur hair and how ur hair reacts to it. Some people need to clean their hair more than others, some like more protein, some like thicker products. For me I wash and deep condition my hair weekly. If ur on a budget, I recommend the garnier whole blends olive shampoo, or as I am coconut cow ash (neither strip my hair) and for conditioners, you can use Aussie moist or garnier whole blends honey conditioner. For deep conditioner my favorites are the Aussie 3 min moist and the shea moisture Manuka honey masque. Shea moisture ain't cheap so u can alternate between the $3 Aussie and the $12 dollar shea moisture. Both extremely moisturizing. And for moisturizers, cheap brands are cantu( don't really care for the brand), cream of nature (love it!) lotta body, renpure, eden bodyworks.... and u can seal all that moisture with shea butter (it's like $5 at beauty supply) or you can seal all that moisture with an oil if ur hair prefers lighter products. Y favorite way to moisturizers is to use cream of nature Argan oil curl activator cream sealed with shea butter. I'm not a fan of protein because my hair is chronically dry so I pump my hair full of as much moisture as I can at every step in my wash day. For protein deep conditioners, u can do them once every 6-8 weeks. Hope this finds u well😃😇 (sorry it was so long😅)

So u wanna start cheap and small. Try to buy samples of u can and keep ur receipts in case u need to return things u don't like. Thanks for doing this! You selected several that I've never tried and need to. I have the Jamaican Black Castor Oil and the 10 and 1 Superfruit. Have you tried the Dandruff control masque, Yucca and Plantain masque, or the Smooth and Repair Nourishing masque? I finally tried the Smooth and Repair as I feared the worst with the negative reviews, but I loved it. I applied it to wet hair after washing. I put my oils over it as I do with all the deep conditioners. I also tried the shampoo and weekly treatment. My hair was out of balance and this was a great protein treatment. My hair is smooth again, no shedding, tangles or breakage. It also didn't leave my hair feeling dry as most proteins do. I noticed the spring back in my curls as the moisture overload made my hair lifeless and less curly/coily. For two weeks I had to put curlers on the ends, but after the treatment there was no need. It's definitely not for weekly use but great as a deep conditioning treatment maybe every 4-6 weeks. Thanks again!

cee dacosta I like mixing the smooth and repair with raw Shea butter deep treatment mask. This is my go to combo weekly and after I put on the conditioner I add a medley of oils. Let the concoction sit for 20-30 and rinse. The oils help lock in the moisture for the week. I style with eden body works coconut conditioner and curling cream.

Great video :) I’ve rlly been wanting to try Shea moisture other products besides the curl enhancing smoothie. And I’ve gotten into deep conditioning my hair with Aussie deep cond. but my hair still doesn’t feel that great so this was very helpful. I think I want to try jbco the one everyone has been ranting about. So excited :)

Thanks i will try the gray one. I have a "distressed" hair look (when i don't have any products) and very dry curls in the center and back of my hair so frizzy make me want to cry when I struggle for trying to make it look decent. :"( Or should i try other for my problem?

Hello, I've tried the Manuka it really makes my hair soft! I've been thinking of getting the JBCO mask to complete that collection but I was not sure if the protein would work with the sensitivity of my low porosity hair. My hair is like yours when wet but how do yo get those ringlets when dry???? I've been 2 strand twisting, I have naturally coarse hair in the crown and back. Loose, tight, wavy all up and through my hair. Help please lol.

+MyThriftedCloset yes how do you get those ringlets when dry?? are you 4c or 4b? I'm 4c and have no curl pattern when dry- I have to 3 strand twist. It would be good to know your curl type coz not sure if my 4c hair will find JBCO masque too drying. I've used the manuka honey and purification masques and like them both but they have either no protein or its low down the list and looking for a masque with protein high up. can you suggest?

I've been wanting to try some more but that raw shea butter masque hurt my feelings. I don't know if it is because I'm in transition 4 months post but it dried my hair out so bad, I can't bring myself to try another one just yet.

Erica Hopkins. I used that one as well and I tried it on my relaxed, transitioning and natural hair and it also dried out my hair really bad each time.

I have seen a few You Tubers do Deep conditioning demos on dry hair. Is that just or the demo, or is that a thing? I always thought D.condtioning was to be done on wet hair!?
