Solid video and transition effects. So if I watch streamed movies and some games like COD every now and then, which is best? I feel like QD OLED vs the Sony Processor make it tough for me to choose as I’m in the market and Samsung and Sony are what I’m considering…

They both perform super on streaming and gaming, Sony A80L will most likely last longer but the Samsung will save you some cost.

I am stuck on S90C and A80L. Like the S90C but the lack of dolby vision might make the difference for me. Currently on sale for super bowl. S90C $2,300 VS A80L $2,600. Its my theater TV and will be paired to sonos dolby atmos system (bar, sub and two rear) Which do you go with?

Seen the C3 ( 65”) on sale for £1400( $1782) which is £300 ($ 381 ) less than the 65” S90C and a whopping £500 ( $632 ) cheaper than the Sony A80L . I wonder if at that price it might change a few minds on which to buy !

I recently bought the Sony A80L. Great picture after tweaking the settings. Then the ABL kicks in. Will probably go for the Samsung S95c or pay for the A95L. Any thoughts?

Sony TVs generally last longer, but the C3's WOLED has the best Burn-in resistance plus positive feedback from users. Nevertheless I'd do a Sony just for peace of mind.

I like both of this TV, Costco x90cl led 75" is $1500, s90c qd oled 77" is 2300. I end up buying the s90c, the better of the 2, but if your watching regular TV program and HD movies I prefer x90cl.

Looked at LG C3 and Sony A80L today. Both 93 inch. Lg is $500 less. I've always had Sony but was really impressed with the picture on LG. Primarily using the tv for streaming movies and watching tv. Have a soundbar. Gaming is not a huge issue so the HDMIs in Sony are fine. Room is medium to low level brightness. For a long-lasting tv that will go the distance, do we stick with Sony or take the plunge on LG?
@hardware_house

Since both TVs are new products, we can only tell based on previous products. Sony has already established a consistency in producing TVs with longer life span... But the C3 has the best burn-in resistance.

Ok so pls don’t be offended when I say that’s a bit of a stupid question isn’t it ? First your spending over $2000 dollars which ever you buy and your asking someone that doesn’t even know you ! You might as well just walk into the nearest best buy and ask one of their sales staff. This video was made to inform folk which it has done in a most impartial way now it’s your decision or are you the indecisive type! If burn in is a concern it shouldn’t be because by the time any of these TVs suffer from burn in your going to want to upgrade to the latest tech and replace it. To aid you may I suggest..if money is tight get the C3 , if your after the best but at a cost get the Sony and if you want to pair your tv with an in-house sound bar that won’t need a second mortgage get the Samsung . All of them will be a huge improvement on your current tv .

I am honestly between the Samsung s90c and the Sony A80l....i primarily will use the TV for gaming with the ps5 but also want great quality and performance when it comes to watching movies and TV shows on streaming services...I have been going back and forth with these 2, which one would you recommend?
@hardware_house

A80L gives sweet compatibility with the PS5 with loads of options on game settings. The Samsung has a higher refresh rate though, but when you use 2 devices from the same manufacturer, there is always a special experience. Personally I'd do A80L.

I just want to say: My LG OLED C3 quit on me after 2 years. The picture was great but for some reason the tv would turn off after 20 seconds, The repairman saw a bar on the side and said to was unrepairable. The Tv was always kinda glitchy, would lose internet connection so I had to reset it a couple of times. For this reason, I am not going to buy an LG. Did I get a lemon? I didn't have it on for long hours. I turned it off the power for 2 weeks because I went on vacation and when I returned, it didn't work. But Costco refunded my tv since it was on warranty. Is it true that OLED tv give out after 5 years?
