Bruh, you got destroyers killed and left behind your landing troops. Next time send your destroyers first in two flanking formations and torpedo attack in an L formation, that way you have torps going through and across, impossible for big ships to dodge. One set of destroyers goes across the enemy and fires them broadside once in range. The other destroyers go straight towards one flank so that they can launch torps as the enemy passes them coming the other way. Once all torps are launched, the destroyers peel off out of range and then come back to attack with guns at the enemies rear. While this is happening, send in your planes to help simultaneously. Don't send in attacks one by one of each unit as they will get picked off easier. Have two dive bombers and two torpedo bombers at hand. Dive bombers attack down the ship vertically whilst the torpedo bombers come in from the horizontal AT THE SAME TIME. Have one or two fighter squadrons for overwatch in case the enemy has the same idea. It's better to split up your formations into smaller attack groups than just sending in your carrier formation in one blob, this way you will keep your escorts alive longer as they will have more freedom of movement/speed. You only want to hold a large formation together when you are on the defensive, to maximize anti-aircraft defense and concentrated artillery fire on the nearest attacking ships. Keep your landing ships with your battleship or cruisers and don't leave them behind, otherwise you'll be sitting around playing catch-up. Just send them straight to the nearest island and let them get on with it. If they have air cover and a heavy ship for escort/bombardment, then they will be fine. Maybe send some bombers with them to soften up the defenses before/as they are landing. Thanks for the videos and sorry if I come off as know it all, i loved this game back in my 360 days and I'm glad to see all these cool mods and people still playing this. I really wish they would remake this sort of game and that world of warships was more like this. So chill commanding a fleet like this and i miss it dearly.
