I'm really disappointed in what appears to be a lack of focus on the judges part. They are constantly allowing people to interrupt them throughout the entire competition and it comes across very unprofessional. The judges should be required to give commentary on why they voted they way they did so everyone knows they are taking it seriously and paying attention. Good beats though!

Simple and basic while edeez had well tuned complete beats.
@shadowheadmaskedbandit10347 жыл бұрын
right. to tell you the truth all of the producers where similar except for mal gibson and chase wav who where slightly diffrent. mal had similar compared to the rest but was put together better. while chase gas more potential then them all. and im speacking from a producers perspective.
@lukasprecise73307 жыл бұрын
This seemed so rigged to me. Some of these guys were dropping great beats, but then the judges swept them and gave it to the lesser track
@OneRealAssNiggaa7 жыл бұрын
Yea that was kinda crazy but I understood it somehow. Timian is underrated like a MF but most of his beats are like 90% finesse n melodies and 5 or 10% bass. I could see his beats being used in the industry & in a battle with different rules, I'm sure his beats would be more respected (especially over that whack, redundant ass trap beat he went up against) but idk man it is what it is
@lightyagamilightyagami7 жыл бұрын
Nate Smith is way more original than the other dudes! no front.

Producers who got robbed in this part: Edeez, Duke Dinero, Favourite beat in this part: Easily Chase Wav at 4:29 ; that beat was smooth!!! Most consistent throughout the battle thus far: Sarcastic Sounds & Andrew Triple A I feel they both came through with crazy beats every round they were in.

Mazouz Beats Because Nate Smith complitely sampled Mac Miller's song (I don't remember the name of the song) but I think that's why the judges voted the other guy than Nate Smith
@DocKaosBeats7 жыл бұрын
xSoulEateer That's not Mac Millers song that's from an old Lil Kim song called Crush on You from back in the 90's a classic banger I guess Mac must of sampled it too

He lost clean! That beat was a platinum Lil Kim Song and he ain't do shit to it but basically play the beat...

lets be real... he didn't even flip the sample or nothin... all he did was add some basic ass drums. That take absolutely no skill as a beat maker.

Chase was original AF. Yea Nate's beat was nice but it was based on someone else's work (if you go on bbm's website, they actually say that those type of beats are frowned upon).
@Rapgenius1237 жыл бұрын
hip hop was founded on other peoples work t'f you mean lol sampling is a part of the hip hop culture. All the greats sampled other artist J dilla, pete rock, dj premier, kanye, the list goes on and on.
@OneRealAssNiggaa7 жыл бұрын
never said a sample couldn't or shouldn't be used. But when your material is literally composed of 90% of already established content, it's at the least debatable to say that you didn't do anything. In addition to this being a competition that seeks ORIGINALITY (see the bbm website for battle rules), there's really no argument man smh

Some of these beats are nice but none of them sound like battle beats to me. They all sound... soft. Is this a battle to see who can make the softest beat? What even is a battle anymore? Remember when DJs used to battle and they literally came with shit that sounded like it was gonna KILL the other DJ? Sorry, but I remember when battle used to mean BATTLE. This is more like a talent showcase with biased judges.
