There has been 3 uodates since I bought it and it feels completely different with the updates as it was at first. Even the brake is not as HARD as it used to be. I love it lol, still hopping for the regen brake control on the mobile and the mileage ajustment. I wish the videos talked about how easy it is to lock & secure, if the digital lock is easily bypassed, etc
@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide3 ай бұрын
The NFC key locks and unlocks the scooter, or you can leave it unlocked and just use the power button. You can also lock it with the app. If you mean physically locking it up: Unfortunately leaving a scooter anywhere is risky and the vast vast majority of locks out there can be cut in 1 minute with a cut-off wheel. There are some cutting-wheel resistant locks but they’re in the $200 to $300 range and will resist a good 15 minutes of cutting, plus they will destroy 3 cut-off wheels in the process. We should make a video about the good locks. I tend not to focus on the security measures built into the scooters since none of them are very secure. The one exception being cellular tracking that lets you track and disable your scooter remotely. But only a couple scooters have that. -Paul
@NENathaniel3 ай бұрын
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide Thanks for the explanation! I’ve found a couple scooters are a bit difficult to use most U-Locks with, while some are very easy. Might be worth testing? I wonder how well would a e-scooter handle snow on the road, like half an inch or even one inch of snow on pavement or sidewalk? I definitely wont be going 20mph in such road conditions, but I do hope it will still be rideable at least. Or would it be better if I buy a fat tire e-bike instead? Also, having Apple find-my is cool but I don't own any Apple device. Does that mean this feature is completely irrelevant for me?

More laughable readouts. I've taken a pass on about 10 scooters because of their display. Battery is most important but they insist that maybe riding companions would say "I got to 5.9 mph up that grade. Dude, you beat me, I got to 5.7, we could have gotten speeding tickets!" What a crock. Meanwhile they couldn't see their childish displays with the critical sunglasses on anyway - because the display is blue or green in full sun with sunglasses, completely invisible. Serious riders want white on black everything. When you're pushing that puppy on a dead battery the passing motorists aren't going to wonder if your tiny green invisible battery level indicator wasnt noticed because you didn't stop to take your glasses off and bend over to make shade to see it every mile or so. They're going to know you bought an insufficient set of circumstances at whatever level. Manufacturers: That 7 year old doesn't buy the machine. Tackle serious matters seriously. White displays, largest should be battery percentage, in numerics, speed in bars, you've got it all backwards.
