You should try the Vince Camuto and Ralph Lauren ponte pants. They look very work appropriate. I found them at Macy’s. I also loved the Nordstrom Halogen ponte pants with the back zip but when they stopped carrying them, I switched to Vince and Ralph Lauren and they have a similar look. I think you’d really like them too.

So thankful for hearing the review of the various brands. I tried your fav Nordstrom a few years ago and they were really great. I do take exception to your comment about flared ponte pants though. Bootcut, full-length ponte pants are something I always have in my closet. They balance by very pear shape and make me look so much slimmer. The flare also appears more dressy for my style than a legging look. Of course, I am in my mid-50’s so am past the longer tops with skinny bottoms look. I did my own ponte review and actually found the Macy’s INC brand to be great. So looking forward to vlogmas!

They’re my ride or die and check a lot of the boxes you mentioned. They are on the pricier side, but I’ve been able to find them on eBay and poshmark.

Thanks for this video! I followed your link to buy the good Daily Ritual pants, and there was only one pair available in only one size, medium. It turns out they are perfect for me, and now the whole product is unavailable. If it weren't for you, I definitely wouldn't have these pants. I'm also very pleased with Spanx perfect straight leg pants. I think it's hard to describe which exact model you're talking about, when it comes to Spanx pants. These are the ones that are sometimes described as polished. They don't have real pockets in the back. I bought a size large of those on eBay, and they are probably a little too big for me, but they're super comfy because they're not binding. I have a medium pair on the way. I tried the size medium from eBay of the Cupcakes and Cashmere pants, but their medium fits like a large on me. The crotch is hanging 6 in too low on me. Luckily, that one came with a return policy. I can't find any medium ones to buy right now.

I still have a pair of the Paige black ponte pants w mini silver zip pockets on front you recommended as few years back. They have held up great and I can’t bear to part w them!

A super affordable ($25 when they're on sale) option: Crown and Ivy Bistretch pants from Belk's. I don't know why they call the fabric bistretch, but it's a true ponte, and they come in petite and regular lengths and in charcoal, navy, black, khaki, etc. One of my best finds and something I have multiples of. Also, you should look up the brand Crown and Ivy in general. They are the in house brand at Belk's and have tons of Lilly Pullitzer inspired summery, resort wear type pieces. (I may have bought a bunch of things on sale recently because summer will come again!)

I remember the pixie pant days well! I’m sure they’ve updated it since around 2013 when they were super popular on KZbin. I always found them to be flattering looking but quite uncomfortable with shinier fabric and very scratchy elastic. I haven’t tried the Minnie ♥️

I think some call them Jersey pants because Ponte is a type of jersey, but I like to call them Ponte because it suggests a thicker more resilient fabric ♥️

I have accepted that I can’t wear pants. They don’t fit me right, and I don’t like how blouses look tucked into pants on my body. By 3:30 it feels like they’re digging into my stomach. I love the Halogen and Calvin Klein ponte pants, but I don't think any of them are office appropriate because of the way they fit, especially around the ankle. I guess it depends of one's work culture, but they are very legging like and regardless of the thickness, they don't look proper in a business environment.

I have 4 pairs o Nike Dri-Fit yoga pants that I've had for something like 20-25 years that are as black and awesome as they were the day I bought them. This was before Nike started overtly branding all of their stuff with "advertising" and Nike bits all over the leg, where you could see it. Those were my office pants right up until the day I retired and look as new today as they did when I bought them. When they quit making such pants, I blackballed them. Flat out. I will never buy another Nike product again. I'm OLD-school business and am not going to feed this new corporate stupidity crap any more than I have to. Period. I do use Amazon but I cringe every time. I just really hate it and am moving toward purchasing locally, from real brick and mortar stores that actually practice quality control and listen to their customers. Two critical aspects of business that have been all but completely eliminated in the internet retail realm.
