Our last chapter closed with the Third Army's bold maneuver of deploying three divisions northward in an audacious bid to smash the German southern flank.

Thank you. It seems a real challenge to try and find the right level of detail, given how complex and confusing this fighting was. However, doing the research is an absolute rush.

I forgot about that! Thank you for bringing that up, I am going to watch that again, as I have not seen that in years. The next video is going to attempt to use the fighting at Chaumont as a microcosm of the broader counteroffensive. I was there in December of '22, and it was quite moving. The records are not completely clear as to what exact German armored vehicles led the counterattack, but it looks like I found a thread of credible evidence that it was Tiger 1s along with Stug IIIs. I will attempt to provide the evidence for others to judge.
