Mielle custard is not meant to give hold. However it is extremely moisturizing. You can put it under a strong hold gel. But don't bother to look for hold.

I feel like the Mielle custard shapes your face better bc of how much volume it gives but the Doux custard ways your hair down a little more with a lot more added definition
