Sonics small hot dogs are made with 100% beef. The Footlongs are not. I literally just had this conversation with a worker today because I always order the Footlong Chili cheese with Extra Onion hot dog. But today I ordered just a small Coney hot dog with chili and cheese and onions and he says Oh yeah, that ones made with 100% real beef. the Foot Long's are not I was like, well thank you, I will never order that again. And it tasted so much better than the footlong. Just an FYI.

Hahaha, funny you were saying about Mustard and ketchup when i was little, i hated mustard and loved ketchup, but as i got older i don't like ketchup even with my fries. If they don't have barbecue sauce, sometimes I'll get Mayo and then get ketchup and mix it together when i eat fries, but i will not put ketchup on my hot dogs just mustard Onions and relish like i used to before the Covid hit and they changed it at Costco. They don't do onions, just ketchup and mustard.🤔🌭🌭

I'm in the UK. I am not a mustard lover but I definitely like ketchup, crispy onions and melted cheddar cheese. 😊. I'm not much for the roll, I'd eat half and then just finish the sausage without the Bread. I've never had the chili dog. I have had the American BBQ one with bacon (American ham), pepper jack cheese and BBQ sauce. The hard stuff is usually gristle bits that have been left in the sausage meat. If it's in my hot dogs I just spit it out and eat the good bits xx xx

Nioce! Wish I had a freddys in the OC. The lobster roll is just a hot dog roll with butter smeared on it and toasted on the skillet/flat top. I grew up with hot dog buns only like that when I have a hot dog. LOL try it at home, makes them soooo much better!

When I was young, Dairy Queen had a quarter pound hotdog that was delicious. It came with everything, including slaw. Also the option for sour kraut. I miss those days.

Here in Texas, we have a chain called "Der Weinerschnitzel". I am across the street from one right now in Lubbock. I haven't been to it, because, bizarrely, a head shop just down the street has good hot dogs for 49 cents! And 79 cent fountain drinks. Picked up a pipe and grinder while I was there, too. I have been to Der Weinerschnitzels in San Antonio and Houston. I like them! Especially their chili dogs. It's really weird yours are just called "Weinerschnitzel". I can't see how that could be copyright legal. They even have the same logo! I know ours have been around since the 1960's. So who is copying who? The quality is clearly different between the two chains, judging by your reactions.

I feel like from Sonic there is a big difference in the footlong chili cheese Coney and the regular size. I've always preferred the footlong chili cheese Coney add onions and then I'd ask for mustard and drizzle it over it. It was great that way. This is just at my local Sonic though. The footlong Coney like the long bun and hotdog always seemed more fresh. Maybe the buns came out of a different type of package or something. I have no clue. Freddy's definitely invests in their hotdogs.

This was fun... You should do a blind test of items like Heinz ketchup vs Walmart Great Value etc... I've seen this before and it's shocking. I tried Great Value after that video and was hooked. It-s my favorite ketchup. Other items you can try are chips ahoy vs Walmart brand vs another store brand.?etc etc etc

I only like ketchup unless I get chili cheese. I also am not a fan of boiled wieners.. at home I cook mine in the frying pan til all brown/a little dark and the bun toasted in butter. If I’m feeling fancy I add bacon and cheese😊

They are not microwaved. They are put on flat top when restaurant opens. Warmed around then put in a warmer drawer on stove that keeps them steamed all day. In drawer also a place that keeps buns warm. I was a manager years ago.
