Battle of the Highlighters: ELF Halo Glow Liquid Highlighter VS Physicians Formula Liquid Highlight

After your Physician's Formula review I ordered it (they didn't have it at my Ulta or Target). Today I ate lunch with my mother and my make-up was exactly the same as always except for the highlighter and she kind of looked at me funny and said, "for some reason you look especially pretty today." 😊

@@AnaReczynski OK not to go on and on but I work in a school with a girl who I've been friends with since kindergarten (the 1970s!). Today is the first time I've seen her since I started using this highlighter and as we were chatting this morning she randomly said, "My god do you age?? Your skin has no wrinkles!" Well my skin (which DOES have wrinkles) is the exact same as it was last week the only difference is the highlighter. 😊

PF has great products - and you're right, generally their shade range is very narrow but they have good basic products. That elf Halo sure looks nice, though!

Yes! I think PF has some pretty amazing products. They need to be better with the shade ranges

Personally, I prefer the elf and think it looks amazing.. I hear people mentioning using blush or highlighter "under" their Foundation.. But if I use liquid foundation, how do I not lose the blush or highlighter from showing under the foundation?

Hey! Yess, I know what you mean. After Mary Phillips did the tutorial a lot of people do the under painting. The only time I use highlighter underneath is when I'm using more of a skintint. A full coverage foundation will cover the highlighter. When you use a tint over highlighter, the glow just peeks through. Giving a glow from within ✨️
