Well done. Nice to see a location that has both Revolutionary and Civil War history. Interesting stuff .

I walk my dogs out there all the time! My granny lived less than a mile from here. Her house backed up to the water down one of those side roads. Just was up there walking my dog when I got my truck inspected across the street

Excellent, review on the Glosour side and the Hook Battle. Nothing mentioned to it being a calvary battle and that Tarleton surrendered there an hour after the Yorktown Surrender.

I wonder if anyone has excavated these mounds. I imagine there may be buttons, buckles and such buried during building.

I’d imagine so but I can honestly say for certain. Thanks for watching!

Interesting to here about fighting on the other side of the river. I wonder what the delay in communications would have been between Washington-Rochambeau's forces around Yorktown and those of Chosey at Gloucester Point.

I’d imagine pretty difficult given the times. This was a neat find. Had no idea this existed until shortly before my trip there.

CAVALRY...not calvary...C..A..V..A..L..R..Y... You said it correctly once maybe twice ...the rest of the time it's sounds like calvary...which is a hill outside Jerusalem.. aka Golgatha... Cavalry...not calvary...
