I like how the Dutch-Belgian rivalry brings flavour without any real animosity. Mathieu rides for a Belgian team, Wout for a Dutch team. No matter who wins, they are both heroes and role models. Blij met onze zuiderburen!

as dutchie, i fully agree. If Wout wins, the netherlands wins if Van Der Poel wins, the netherlands wins even more.😁

Keep going with this type of format. It can really help the ones that didn't have a chance to be there to feel the atmosphere. The only thing missing from this video was some rough cuts of someone in the middle of the crowd the moment Mathieu won the race. Absolute scenes, something that I will never forget.

A fantastic race and a very entertaining season! And please keep these Behind-the-Scenes and Rough-Cuts videos coming as they are. They're a wonderful window into the sport!

There was a lot of how MVDP & WVA don’t really get along, but seeing the rivalry, they are truly gracious in acknowledging each others qualities.

This rough cut format is excellent stuff, I really look forward to seeing more of this. Maybe at track competitions aswell 🙏

I love seeing Felipe Nystrom. He races local races with me and although he's beat me all but one time, he's such a good humble dude. Cant wait to have him back in time for our local season races to start. Im gonna share this video with him, although I bet he already knows of its existence.

すごいねえ〜〜〜。まるでサッカースタジアムでバイクレースしてるような雰囲気。 What an awesome atmosphere with tremendous spectators of 40k people making feeling like a bike race being placed in a football stadium. Mvdp must be feeling relieved and happy after going through issues with his back.

Mathieu also could have won the 2022 Road World Champs if it isn't for the kids that bothered him and the police removing him form the race... I hope he wins it this year and also I want to see him back on Mountain biking and also win the rainbow

None, Pidcock won last year but he did not compete this time.

Last year, both MvdP (back problems) and WvA (focus on road spring season) skipped the worlds in the USA. Which, of course, was a great opportunity for Pidcock to claim the title.

Yeah, neither of them were defending. The defending champion did not attend this year.

shame they had to include the interview from the typical ignorant US guy, on an otherwise excellent video
