As of today, Stanley ones are 20 and CK are 54 pounds on amazon.. With that kind of price difference CK ought to be better in my opinion.

I bought a non branded pair from Amazon like the Stanley style when I started my apprenticeship for about £15 and they still work perfectly now so have never updated them.

I've only used the Stanley fat max and for its price I'd say its totally worth it, I've bought it since I started college at age 16 and now I'm 24 and its still going strong. I will be buying the the other one which is on the screen and I hope its durable.

How do both of these perform when stripping 3 & 5 core 0.75mm flex we use in central heating wiring? Or any flex?

Not done any 5 core.. But everything else I've used has been fine.

I have both, re-badged under different names. I prefer the CK ones but the blades aren’t great. If I could find replacements I’d be more than happy. Despite them being marketed as replaceable I can’t find them anywhere.

Buy the Knipex, then you’ll find the replacement blades.

Automatic Wire Stripper is cheaper and better. CK blades just flatout s ucks

i found my fat max no good for stripping the wires of cat 5 cable it breaks it instead of stripping

I have seen plenty of videos about the Stanley stripper. Would someone please demonstrate how it can be used for crimping. Absolutely no information from Stanley on this function.

Has anyone used the CK ones on LSF t+e? The Stanley ones fall to bits pretty quickly on a commercial setting.

The CK ones are a big disappointment,they're not as well made as similar jokari ones. CK ones struggle on Regular 2.5 t&e - no chance with LSOH.
