Arnab has his core audience who are bhakts. With this news reading segments he did not get highest TRP. He got the highest TRP by targeting the segment which watches TV for entertainment. This includes viewers of Saas bahu drama, viewers who watch suryavamsham and wanted 100 times, viewers of CID. He mixed these in the news knowing that it’s not news format. People went to watch him for entertainment knowing it is not true news. Hence he gained the TRP. As an MBA student I can see these pure marketing concept of segmentation and targeting. Arnab knows there is a segment of people who despise him and hate him. But he is getting his viewership from different audience. He cares only for TRP. You and me does not affect his ecosystem.

Maam ive got no problem with english but when I showed this to my family they couldnt sink in properly may be language restrictions were the issues ....if done in hindi ...it would surely convey and pass on to a larger audience and wouls serve the purpose well . What i suggest is you do the same english script in hindi as well and then post both of them or create another channel by the name of News laundry HINDI.... but keep the HINGLISH parts as it is in both ...cause its high time now professional journalism is dead and free lancers like you provide us with truth ....let language not be the barrier . for sure one day you will have a bigger and more receptive audience ....just tackle the language issue .....a mass audience will lend you ears if done in hindi as well Lots of love
