Or if they didnt get to it lets say that a battle pass in the future isn't the greatest or is lack luster, they take a page from Halo Infinite and let you buy a old battle pass for the season, you still have to finish it within the timeframe, still have to earn it, and thats the pass you're stuck with. I knew I wasnt the only one that thought that...When I found out that happened, in the back of my mind, I was thinking, they know people want these old skins they missed, what if we "accidently" let a skin be listed... see how many are sold before we "catch the mistake", see how much that stirs up the community. They did it multiple times back in the day, I can tell you weren’t around for it, but they release grill sergeant weeks early and took it out within an hour, they also accidentally released a starter pack skin in the item shop, its definitely possible to rerelease a skin on accident. Not to mention they announced they were removing the skin from people’s accounts right after before deciding they can keep it

All they have to do is to re-color/re-design the old Battle Pass skins and thus they can bring them back without getting a lawsuit. With the old vanilla skins remaining untouched, yet new versions of old skins returning to the shop for new players. Both sides would be happy.

Always thought it'd be a cool idea to have a mini 'make up' battle pass, where you can choose what battle pass you wanna make up while also working on the new one (New battle pass you use stars the 'make up' would just give you items when you level up) But if they're selling them in the shop I think they should either keep the super levels exclusive (since people worked hard for those) or give people a 'og' style

Seems like a lot of people are missing out on the price of a battlepass vs the price of a decent skin, which will be 1500 . How many skins are in a battlepass? Even if it was just one, that's cheaper than most skins and you get your v bucks back. So at the least you're getting the best deal on a skin they may charge 1200 to 2000 for. We see how much the Cyber truck is and it was just free. So I think the battlepass is still worth it. Why cry if they bring it back out you still got it cheaper and probably an exclusive edit.

At the end of the day EPIC wants our money, if they take any future battlepass skins and put them up on the shop later on, people will buy them when they were original and people will buy them at the re-release. At any given time there TONS of players taking a break, coming in NEW to fortnite, or quitting forever. The same can be said about skins, exclusivity is a veiled attempt at being ELITE or better than other people or whatever other hogwash, no one player is going to have all skins on at all times right? SO why have exclusivity all together really, players spending a ton of their time playing this awesome game SHOULD be able to play whatever skin they earned through events or the battlepass or through the shot, or stuff rereleased in the shop. Again, at the end of the day, let players have their fun little pixels that make them happy, playing how they want while looking how they want, BUT NOOOOO some players want their skin to be one of a few hundred world wide because blah blah blah. No offense given, but the concept of exclusivity is sort of snobbish with such a forgiving, casual, fun loving, funny game.

my HUGEST regret was buying the Chapter 2 season 4 and 7 battle passes, and not being able to finishes either of them. those 2 passes had some of my favorite skins and cosmetics EVER, i want superman, iron man, and Rick Sanchez SO BAD. honsetley, as long as they DO give OG owners a special style, and or keeping the super styles locked. i would LOVE to see battle pass skins coming back ESPECIALLY collab skins

Adults who have played the game from the start are in their 30s now, while kids are between the ages of 10 and 24. These kids are the ones who care about exclusivity, love to flex their cosmetics, and can be toxic and weird about it. Some, if not most, of these people also buy stolen accounts from marketplaces with skins they don't have, feeding into the toxic behavior just because of the rarity of a cosmetic item that literally has no real value. Epic has caused this issue themselves and will always have a big problem if they don't fix it. Selling past battle pass skins seems more like a Band-Aid.

It's silly to me that a kid that likes Superman can never earn or use the superman skin because they were either to young to play the game at the time or didn't find out about the game until much later. I dislike collab exclusivity. I think ALL the old collab skins should come back. Not just this battlepass onward, but this pass backwards as well. I understand it's just a skin, but there are people that like Deadpool but think that "comic style" version looks bad. It's also silly to me that the only two Iron Man outfits we have are one battlepass exclusive and to big to be fun/practical to use in BR. Especially when Iron Man has so many armor variants. It's also silly to me that OG Loki hasn't returned when he was crew pack during a time where they said "they might return". I just want fun skins in the game. I'm having fun messing around with Mysterio, but I wouldn't complain if some kid could also use it.

Also, 950 VBs is alot cheaper then just one of the battle pass skins...that alone is incentive for me to get them early, but I would pay to get Indiana Jones, Spider Gwen, Mystique and others...may not get them all, but but for some, yes I would, and like someones suggestion rather then bring back the skin, bring back the pass itself... like OG Pass, OG2 Pass....like that.

Honestly, just make the themed character exclusive to battle passes with similar themes, like wastelander magneto can return in another apocalypse mad Max theme, while normal magneto is here to stay. It's such an obvious way of doing it going forwards, and gives them the ability to include a stupid amount of characters in a variety of themes without worrying about them not returning in their most iconic form.

BP skins shouldn't be exclusive. 950 for the pass grind it out and get the items this season or pay $20+ for each individual character set. I think chapter 1 skins should stay the way they are. The CH1 skins are only cool _because_ they're exclusive to the people who got in early, as they aren't really that aesthetically pleasing when compared to later chapters. Anything after that though, should probably come back in some way or another. I myself would love a chance to get Meowscles, because i was a bit bored of the game by that season, so i ended up not buying the BP.

Honestly I felt like another good way to being back battle pass skins was add a "returning skin" to every battle pass so new players will have a chance to get it and old players that missed out on the og pass would give them another chance and motivation to come back, but guess they didn't think of that.

One of the main problems of epic games bringing old BP skins into the item shop would be the amount of OG players who would throw a temper tantrum and leave, thats honestly one of the biggest things preventing them from doing that, fear of playercount dipping

I’ve been playing since the end of chapter 1 season 7 and I understand both sides of this, people like exclusivity but I think it’s kinda dumb to have exclusivities as it’s not fair for Timmy who maybe just became old enough to play during chapter 5 to not be able to get his favorite superhero Iron man just because he wasn’t old enough. I haven’t ran Iron man myself since chapter 3 because I have so many other characters I can play as and feel bad for kids who want him but were to young to play. I know people talk about how they had to grind for their exclusive why don’t we just make the skins have a quest back in the shop that makes them have to grind for the exclusive styles.
