I'm hoping they don't have Dynamax/Gigantamax in those purely because lore-wise it doesn't make sense outside of Galar. Definitely down to see Mega Evolution have a bigger role though, kinda like ORAS. Cynthia with a Mega Garchomp sounds amazing.

5 years ago, this video was made. A final Pokémon battle theme against a Husband and wife antagonist duo of a Pokémon Fangame Concept. With music that portrayed a sense of dire urgency and that losing this Pokémon battle meant losing everything to a great disaster of enormous catastrophic proportions with that sense of dread that now in this battle that feels as if the very battlefield and your surroundings are crumbling and collapsing as you and your Pokémon desperately Battle to a race against Time to defeat your opponents before all is lost. That this is T H E FINAL BATTLE. The music is emotional, urgent, powerful, melancholic, yet determined and with that occasional spark of hope that's desperately trying to push through that melody. And that same Leitmotif that keeps persisting that you've heard all game in some form. And then last November with Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, we got the Paldea Paradox and the Battle and Tragedy vs A.I Professor. . . . You absolute mad lad, you didn't mean to or try but you did it. This battle theme, while intense also feels emotional and tragic to me. I'm not good at feeling things, but this makes me feel like there's sadness, regretfulness and hopelessness, as if like it's too late to stop one's actions and must see it through to the end. No matter what... (That's just how I feel hearing this, but I'm an idiot).

I listened to this alot to give a vibe to a character I wrote who didn't intend to hurt people, but his goals called for actions that had a high collateral damage, and this brings pain to all parties involved. It's a fight that acts as a final effort to bring good to the world, no matter the cost.

While I do like your Team Zephyr Admins, there’s something else that I can’t help but imagine when I hear this. Imagine some crazy psycho trainer that doesn’t hold back, or even follow the rules of battling. Your turn is skipped if you take too long, and they’re packing, like, ten max revives. And if you manage to beat this person, they come after you themself. That is a person who is determined to beat you by any, and I mean ANY means necessary. And that person is someone who you meet several times along your journey, but isn’t the super obvious bad guy. (Side note: they usurp the old leader’s role and are ten times more menacing that the old Zephyr leaders ever were.) I dunno, it’s just how I think about it.
