Stutters with water pumps was one of the things I wanted to test and returned to FtD for. the 3500 m^3 'limit' is not without reason, as the lag seems to scale with the size of connected sections that are flooding, so by creating true to life flooding prevention divisions you also reduce lag.
@GMODISM9 күн бұрын
The Draconia uses such a system, however as it gets damaged the flooded areas connect and lag is back again! So for ships that will be heavily damaged not having them is best to reduce the lag, of it will never be damaged much, then its OK ;)

700k isn't that much material cost??? If my builds go over 300k I can hardly afford to build them in quest for neter. I'm very new to the game less than 100 hours. Neter is the only campaign I have played so far. I jumped in with medium difficulty and am punished almost every battle. My first go at it I just did all out war every time and regretted it very much so.

Once you get through the DWG and take their resource zones it’s a whole lot easier to build big
@brody771410 күн бұрын
Unless you’re doing a special challenge, never do all out war. Start with taking out the dwg and other weak factions to get their resource zones. Otherwise you’re essentially going to be outnumbered and out produced by like a factor of 10

Don't worry about it Soon you'll start going more and more insane with your desgings and the more resource zones you get the more deranged the plans for your design you'll find in your heart

When starting, yes it is very hard to grasp the skale of neter but overtime it gets easier trust me. I have like 4 fleets of 300k ships fighting off lightning hoods rn and winning. Good luck on your campaign

Scale gets out of hand in designer like that, recording gimle battles and this lol might be the biggest one yet kzbin.info/www/bejne/ipXOq2hveJiofdE and then I built this for fun and well... kzbin.info/www/bejne/d2OuoYdnl8qfiJI makes the gimle feel not that expensive XD

I dont think the fred will do too good against the new stronghold btw. It got reworked and now has actually good crams!

huh! will check that!

Another thing that I noticed, is it standard for ships to be placed head on, even if for one broadsides are obviously more preferable, and in normal game you can rotate how you want ships at the start of the battle? Yamato here only 2 out of 3 sets of crams, 1 out of 2 sets of 500mm and lasers are able to engage, with all broadside 300mm guns staying mostly silent. Sure one can think about setting AI better so it goes broadside earlier and harder, but still.
@GMODISM9 күн бұрын
Yeah, the AoG Gimle-class can only use 2 out of 4 crams and neither of its shield killer auto cannons, as we can see the Yamato is so slow at turning rn it’s a problem, if we spawn ships as broadside, we usually get boring satellite battles and basically reward slow maneuvers, there is a slight advantage given to frontsiders in doing this, but they are usually weaker anyways so it’s a tradeoff :)

I think the Twin Guard will want a word with you about the lack of repair in campaign vehicles lol. That entire faction is notorious for their repair spam. They've got a vehicle that has over 100+ repair tentacles on it. And i dont think thats the beefier self-repair in their fleet This is mostly for joking purposes naturally, and shouldnt be taken as a criticism. Have a good day
@cola987659 күн бұрын
I have a question about CIWS (btw pronounced see-wiz, but whatever) Is there way to detect CRAM shells at greater distance than couple hundred meters? If not that makes it about a second to rotate and engage the volley which understandably creates a problem. I'm asking cause IRL artillery radars are a thing, CIWSs are able to engage mortar shells like 10s in advance, and battleship volleys that CRAM shells are to mimic on a simple radar can appear as group of fighters.
@GMODISM9 күн бұрын
WTF! You are right I googled it to confirm, it's crazy because the proper pronunciation mixes the order of the letters and puts on emphasis on C for no reason seemingly... Well using very good detection on a stabile vessel helps, but there is no way to detect them very far away, so ciws cannons MUST have a fast turn rate and idle aim at enemy while not active :)

i definitely recomment for beginners to just forget about repair bots exist in game. They develops bad building habits.

Agreed!

Given that this game basically requires a PHD in alternate universe mechanics to manage most things... I understand why people want them.

New player here, half the time the players repair tentacles do nothing even if I have material, plus they’re slow, is there a better way to repair without doing it manually?
@kadrikarakoc8075 күн бұрын
@@epicsandvich014 tentacles repairs other vehicles, you need repair bots for self repair.

can u like stop using marks likeness in thumbnails? It's very exploitative, and doesn't seem to be getting you any results. So it's all the shame with no benefits.
@tamnker84659 күн бұрын
I don't feel like it's a problem. It's the avatar of the guy who created the ship. If someone made a video about a ship from a well-known builder then put the builder's steam avatar in the thumbnail, it wouldn't be a problem. No shame in that, it isn't clickbait or exploitative, it tells people what to expect in the video.
@viscinium9 күн бұрын
It's literally the guy who built the ship that is the sole focus of this video series.
