This. This is one of those hacks. Where the creator said "I want to make something very similar to what Game Freak would do but with my own spin". Again, thank you for original music. It goes such a long way, but the game is also soooooooo stylized that it's insane it works in the GBA format.

Honestly doesn't compete with mainline games. It goes beyond competing and sets and example to how the mainline games could and should be living up to. Amazing game. Recommend 11 out of 10

Shoulda gone for a less easy target. It’s better than every gen 4 game. And I love gen 4. Pretty much the only thing it doesn’t beat out is gen 5. And just barely at that.
