Decisive themes are surely one of the, if not THE, best things Villain Arc has brought us. Such a huuuuuuuge improvement on the OG Steven Masters theme and although I think it was kinda obvious (cause SSR Cynthia) the addition of its encounter theme is just the cherry to make it gorgeous

they'd explain the full details in the story event starting tomorrow but as I understand it from part 1 and trailers, a meteorite has made it to Passio and made Groudon and Kyogre rampage, so a Mega Rayquaza would be needed to stop both the meteorite (Deoxys) and the RS legendary mons. Zinnia is paired with Ray but hers cannot mega (yet) so Steven who has a Shiny Ray from last year's anniversary goes to battle and eventually sync up with Deoxys while Zinnia handles the Groudon and Kyogre situation
