Real talk, Comix Zone could make a good hollywood live action adaption, if SEGA would ever want to make movies out of their library besides Sonic. In a perfect world, it would be live action as the real world and gritty 90s style hand drawn looking animation for the comic book world. If not that for the comic book world they could settle with rotoscoping live action footage of actors (presumably with some kind of computer generated filter to cut down costs, or painstakingly manually), or have it all be a generic live action comic world, with cgi here and there like every other hollywood movie. I am not saying SEGA should make something with all their IPs, but come on. Jet Set Radio. Streets Of Rage. Freaking Ecco the Dolphin's series plot would be something normal audiences would not have seen before if done right. Dolphin protagonist experiences unknown terror which turns out to be an alien invasion of the seas with atlantis and time travel involved. Psychedelic visuals and 80s rock music along with surreal synths. If done completely realistic live action-esc cgi it should be one of those sleeper hits in the coming decades.
