I think that you are right that an opportunity has presented itself, but I also believe that the developers have realized that they don't have the resources needed to keep pushing out massive updates like this in a short timespan. I hope that after this point they do smaller, more frequent updates as that would help retain and grow the playerbase more in the future.

Yeah, hopefully all the work they've put into the current devcycle is also permanent changes to the game's code and their workflow that will make future updates smoother, better, and more consistent. From everything I've heard that is the case (not wanting to push up quick updates because the game needed in-depth reworking, hiring a UI/UX designer, hiring a QA team, etc). So you know, remaining hopeful.

Still worried about the TTK changes most of all. I really think average of 0.4 is too long, and it should be between 0.3 and 0.37 at max. Especially with the rapid movement. If movement is slower, longer TTKs is OK, but with parkour superspeed like in BBR, 0.4 just too long imo.

Whiskey is such a broad term, but here are my recommendations from cheap to expensive.. Brubons: Makers Mark, Basil Hayden, Blantons Scotch: Buchanan's, Dewards white lable, Johnny Walker Blue Blantons is by far the best, but its so difficult to get a bottle. Basil Hayden is a close second because its very accessible while also being a higher quality booze.

I have some Blantons bottles. They're nice, but I do prefer something around 105-115 proof. In that proof range I'd say EH Taylor Small Batch is my go-to (although rare)

As someone who started the game after the update, I have no reference, but I am testemant to the success back then after my friend did and brought me in. He probably has a bigger monitor with higher resolution. He lists his setup's specs in his about me section and I assume the HP pav... Is his main monitor which is 27 inches at 1440p. Those enemies aren't too far to be able to see on my laptop (which has a 17 inch screen), but definitely would be a struggle to hit. The recoil compensation is insane though. And sure, he almost certainly has attachments to help with that but... That's still insane. I wonder if there's any sort of pattern to the recoil that you can learn like in CS. I thought it was randomized... But maybe there's something there you can learn to compensate for.

While I would have appreciated monthly updates and the server+audio update they did I really didn't like I'm very excited for this giant update. Its kinda battlebit 2.0 and considering me and everyone else I know payed $8 for this game thats a really good bargain. Although I will say some of these people in the steam/youtube comments will have you believe that no one will play out of principle because they had to wait 8 months XD. Some of these kids need to chill out. The devs may need to work on communication though. I just found out they have dev video this month. I don't see any oportunity for this game, because group of developers are too small to nulify the hunger for content of modern gamers. People are used to regular updates and live service systems. 4 people will never provide that amount of content. the thing I hate the most: the magazines and the fact that the ammo runs out very quickly bleeding and the lack of passive health regeneration (breaks the dynamics of combat) slow weapon changes - if you run out of ammo, you're 90% likely to be dead, you'll never have time to switch weapons strange TTK - really hard to kill 2-3 people face-to-face (headshot has not enough mp)

Well, to explain the game a bit. The devs' goal of making the game is to make it a military simulator and an arcade. So it wants to have the big punishments and fast time to kill while also having a fast pace and lots of chaos. Bleeding is supposed to prevent you from just recklessly running and gunning like a maniac in the open. You have the dynamic of utilizing cover to heal, choosing whether to heal or fight on, or have a teamate medic heal you. As this game wants to be a milsim. It doesn't want it to be easy to kill lots of people at once. In fact, it wants to punish you for playing recklessly and taking on groups larger than you. So it wants you to be smart when playing so you work with other players, take cover, or wisely use tools/gadgets when facing the enemy.

@@frozenburst64 Yes, I understand the purpose. I'm a gamer with over 25 years of experience and work in the game industry myself (UI developer). Unfortunately ideas are very part of a good “game” on paper, but not in reality. If you risk mixing two borderline genres - you need to have a plan B to back out. From a business perspective, it's better to move away to where the most people are. This mix leads to a very unpleasant experience. When I get bleeding and start bandaging - I lose momentum and it feels broken. Very often after killing an enemy, I hide to re-bandage and the enemy comes out at me. This makes me lose control of the game and let chance take its course. There is enough chaos here as it is. I had a fight where I was bleeding, bandaged, peecked, bleeding again and so on 4 times. I spend half the game bandaging myself. There are no tactics here. People just look out, get bleeding, get bandaged and so on in a circle. It adds nothing but annoyance. Reality turns out to be not as fun as it looks on paper :) I've noticed that mixing slow and fast is like trying to make French fries and mashed potatoes at the same time. You get some kind of mush that no one wants to eat :D
