Robots and robotic movement to me has always felt so artificial- never have i recalled it feeling so organic like it does here. This giant starfish doctor octopus thingy’s got some character to it

I believe he tried that with Mechadon and it slightly aided the movement and not much else Although he did use some really tiny saws

I have a feeling that wouldn’t last to long in battle.

As a BattleBots fan for over 20 years: The most technologically innovative bots often don't, but I still love to see builders pushing the envelope.
@captain_tim2820 Жыл бұрын
@@GardensAndGames Oh absolutely. I miss watching the show because a lot of the bots were unique, Like the Four Musketeers which was four small robots but three could only be used in battle. They were cool.

They get to weigh twice as much as other bots. Since they have no wheels, BB gives them a 500lb weight limit. That's why walker Chomp is so large.

It probably wouldn’t last that long in battle. Destroying metal is a fairly simple concept that’s been tried and tested, so unfortunately yeah the most innovative bots aren’t likely to succeed as they’re trying to re-invent the wheel. Still cool to see though.

Dang. Battlebots has to allow robots to walk on arms or legs or whatever. This thing looks sick! Its soooo awesome

Y'all are making some good progress! Just out of curiosity, what's the tether for, and how fast do you think it will be able to move?

I believe that’s how they are currently powering and testing it before they actually put in a rechargeable power supply
