Gotta hand it to rotator, even after taking so much punishment it looks just fine. About 70% of battlebots that appeared on show would had been destroyed if they took similar punishment like rotator did.

Friction saws in heavy weights haven't really been worth anything for the past 20 years, it just takes so much time to cut through even mild steel, it only really works vs aluminium or polycarbonate, which not many bots use as armor these days, hence why sawblaze how uses a "hammer saw", or a kinetic spinner attached to an arm. It does generate really cool spark showers when you hit titanium or tungsten though.

Rotator never seems to do much, it never feels like it's being intentionally aggressive, all the big hits aren't Rotator driving it's weapon into the other robot, it's the opponent intentionally driving into the blade to stop it lol

Sawblaze can do that because Rotator's weapon doesn't have enough power. As long as Sawblaze doesn't let it hit their saw, it can't really do anything to them.

any explanation how the Sawblaze weapon suppose to damage ? that saw looks more like sparkgenerator than something could give heavy damage

That's because rotator seems quite durable Usually, sawblaze also uses the saw as a hammer, it fires it up to full speed and then hammers it into its enemies which was quite successful It usually looks different as well, afaik the one in the video is how it looked before

Rotator is incredibly armored, especially in comparison to other bots. He has deflected killshots from the biggest, including everything Tombstone had to throw at him.

Against some other, less armoured bots, that saw DID cut right through, shooting sparks from the innards of the opponent. That was before the current hammer saw.

In that fight, Rotator made a critical mistake : Taking Sawblaze with his spiky wedge instead of his primary weapon. Rotator attacked with his defensive weapon instead of his offensive weapon.

Jamison is one of the very few who has enough brain power to be able to control his bot and that's what wins battles. sawblaze isn't even that good bot, but he knows how to drive it. battlebots would be so much more fun to watch if everyone would have brain and would know how to control their bots, rotator was quite clueless to be honest, he was just spinning around .. or well, rotating around and slamming into stuff. you could even see that rotator's wedge was winning against sawblaze, but they were too dumb to use it for their own advantage, instead he was rotating around cluelessly.
