I am very interested in the BRX but I've scoured the Internet looking for reviews other than those listed on your site. I am also interested in knowing a lot more about the game variants including how the guns sync up with one another. How many players can play at the same time, how many teams, what exactly keeps score, how do you know if you are dead (being that you can't see your own head to notice the lights on the head band going off. Please do not think I'm here to bash you or to complain. I am truly excited about your product from what I've seen thus far but there is alot of information that myself and a lot of other people that I've seen would like to know before laying down that kind of money just to find out its not what we thought it was. I eagerly await your response. Thank you.

I get the appeal of cool visual effects, but it also feels sort of cheap since that's not how the actual gameplay works (Smoke coming out from taking a hit to the chest and the minigun that I'm pretty sure is a nerf gun). Website is still decently broken and I see a lot of blank images. I understand that even if the gun is worth the 379 (not sure if I should be concerned about the price hike since it was 300 in comments further down a year ago) I don't see a lot of people buying it, therefor I don't see having a lot of players to play with unless I'm willing to drive across the country. Looks cool though! I love stories about people following their dreams as well!

Thank you very much for creating this video. I love the BRX rifles! I purchased two of them, and I am going to play some laser tag with my brother during Christmas. I’m very pleased with this product, because blind individuals, such as myself, are able to have fun with this product as well. This is due to the rifles being completely audio based. i have 10 of these things and a few days ago had my 1st laser tag event. these things where a blast to play with. but got a malfunctuning headband in the end. but that same headband is fixed now. does sombody now how long you can leave the headbands on with a single charge. so we don't have to put the headband on and of all the time for saving batterie. if youre open to feedback: maybe ad an option that forces you in the game in about 1/2 minute. say how many lives you have left after a game withouth a phone. when playing with the phone remove the reload screen when the charge rifle is overheating, if you tap the screen away there's a small glitch of the overheat screen on youre phone.

Man I remember playing Q zar as a kid.... Was so much simpler and accessible then paintball and on the weekends we would have both teams stocked. That was a very cool game but it lost its bite somewhere down the line and i could never understand it ....I mean it was awesome!

Think someone said it already, but the website is very disappointing on getting pricing information for other guns, besides the BRX. On top of that, inquiring via email to get that information, has been just as disappointing and I really have a lot of interest in making a purchase. At first glance, I thought the BRX was the main gun, because when you click on anything else on the site, it’s just parts, so I inquire on other equipment... After getting very “basic” responses to my emails, I’m told would need name, email and address for a full quote, which I kinda laughed, because the sales person already had everything but the address, but like I said “basic” responses. And was asked do I want a full setup? Like I’m suppose to know what the full setup means? Replied back again explaining the idea we had for it and could I get a list of possible business packages you offer? And I also asked more about the BRX, because you have on the pictures(Home/commercial) was curious on difference for that. The reply I got from your sales team was awesome... “BRX is for home use” “For mobile the battle rifle pro may be best option. it is $799.99 with headband.” That was it, guess I’m suppose to just take that as a quote? Nothing about utility boxes, shipping, edge network license, etc... I did reply once more, since my original questions were not answered, that was 10 days ago. I even reached via email to Eric Goodman 5 days ago, he had some very informative videos, which you should put on your main page in my opinion, because that’s how I found out about other equipment.

I'm seeing the comments on this, and people need to calm down and have perspective. Is it expensive? Of course it is! But you have to think of this like buying a paintball gun or quality Airsoft gun. If you keep thinking about this as being a cute fun toy for a 12 year old or younger than you are mistaken. This is somebody's attempt at bringing a professional experience of laser tag to the common person. I for one used to play paintball as well as Airsoft and spent is far more money on both of them. Paint pellet guns CO2 etcetera, that she adds up. I honestly think that this is a bargain over time and am looking to get a set for my family in the near future.

Absolutely...We spent a lot of time on this. Range will not be an issue but you have to zero in your scope

We assure reliable hits at that range, but it can go much farther. Some tests we got 2500+ feet at dusk. You need an optical zoom scope for anything over 150 yards though (that's what I use).

This is an old comment chain, but can you give an actual number for the range? I and my group are interested in Laser Tag for force-on-force training. So, a number for range would be good, I understand that it would be affected by weather. Also, a minute of angle for the laser (how wide it spreads at 100 yards). @GlowVr Most of these laser guns have a pic rail on the top, so you can use an optic from a real gun. Airsoft will also fit if cost is an issue.

vibration and powerful speaker make it rumble when firing, not like a real rifle, but it's a trade off for 8 hours of play time. The sound is what makes it feel so awesome personally, and your choice of optics or our standard red dot.

This makes me sad because your product looks like recoil... But not shitty... And recoil has more exposure... You shouldve made separate weapons too... Like shotguns snipers ARs etc not just one multirole weapon. Youd make more money that way and the game would be kinda cooler. Id have more fun with my sniper if it was actually a sniper and not a BR that sounded like one

It doesn't just sound like it...it behaves like it from reload times to damage. The shotgun does more damage up close and less damage at long range. We can definitely create multiple weapons in the future. You don't have to be sad...we are just starting to spread the word with big things happening. Since we are a commercial manufacturer first...players can expect a much better game play experience and that we will be around to see this through.

Battle Company yeah i realize the weapons perform like they should im just saying it woukd be bad ass to have an actual sniper rifle instead of an AR that acts like one. With a bolt and all that. Or a shotgun that i can pump. Pistol with a slide. Etc. Thats why airsoft is so popular because its more realistic and immerses you because you have a weapon that you have to manipulate like the real world equivelant. If you could do that here youd be doing something awesome for laser tag. Recoil is cool but it seems like....a shitty commercialized version of what you guys are doing... And your system seems more legit and i really hope you guys go places with this!

This is a premium system... Recoil requires a phone. Buy phones for each gun and then see how much you save. Play these side by side and you will see the difference.

To be fair most people have a compatible smart phone. Recoil is great when it works and the downsides is all from the app that hopefully get fixed. This blaster looks amazing but at nearly $400 is a tough pill to swallow and then you have to get friends who are also okay with buying in. You could buy a lot of recoil blasters for that price and get a whole game going. I'd love to try the BRX but I think I'll wait until it gets a much bigger following and maybe price drop.

visible lasers were never used for data transfer, they were always for show, and required dim light and particles (fog) in the air. This is referred to as 'traditional' laser tag. They actually still used IR LEDs (very inaccurate wide hits), and were terrible outdoors. With invisible laser, we get long range and accuracy for outdoors. A visible outdoor laser is not possible in full sun, and would not be eyesafe for a consumer. we use invisible laser combined with a bright muzzle flash, and if you use a phone, you can see the direction you took a hit in the user interface.

every big modern commercial laser tag system has an IR laser and a visible laser. Laser tag is meant to be played in lower light/no light settings. When you can't see where you are shooting, it feels lame and gimmicky IMO. Responsiveness is everything in competitive shooting games and you lose all of that if you can't even see your shot hit the other players sensors/body.

If you could see the laser outdoors, it would be the last thing you ever see. Invisible is safe as configured, and the muzzle flash lets you see the direction of shot if looking, but you will not see a 'tracer' round in laser tag outdoors ever, but I haz ideaz

yes those where invisible as well. If you are a fan of laser tag you would know that the laser was always invisible and the only "laser" was only usable in low light and with fog which is why there was always fog in those laser tag areas. It allowed you to see the "for show" laser.
