Battlefield 1 Bomber Gunner Gameplay

Just sit back, relax and play one-handed because DICE made it so anyone can spawn on the bomber so you'll likely lose your seat to some random. Why? Because screw teamwork or working with other players you have on comms - DICE
If they aren't going to allow players to lock a vehicle or limit it in some way they could at least make it squad spawn only like the vehicles in BF4.

Yes we call the bomber in BF1 the Liberator because it is very similar to the Liberator in Planetside 2.
Yes the crosshair is bugged for turrets like the gunner slots in the bomber.

They should have made these battlefield games more realistic at least on American sides... Any moisture in the air or a puff of fog from a vape pen and all aerial assets are grounded. Then if you choose a pilot in the game your character just sits in a chow hall away from the map pounding donuts and cake... You don't get any kills for the match but you rank up fast. Lol

i wish they would add an option in the game play menu that you have to enable and when you do it makes it that if your squad is set to private only tour squad mates can spawn on your vic, usually if squads are on private it means the people are on voice come either in game or using a 3rd party

It looks like the HE rounds (mg as well) on the airplane don't inherit the aircraft's velocity when firing... They simply spawn at the gun location and it's a "straight" path to the target... (not counting drop from travel) You can tell when he's firing, the rounds spawn on the right/left side of the gun & it would be a lot more difficult to fire accurately if they inherited the aircraft's movement Not trying to discredit Ravic though... just something I noticed about the game mechanics

No that's not what I'm talking about... If the airplane is moving forward and you shoot someone on the left side lets say... the bullets would normally move towards the direction the airplane is flying... but they don't. They just fly exactly where you aim. What you're referring to is the relative aim of the turret vs the airplane... not really the same thing

Fallstroem It's physics. Let's say you drive in a car and throw a ball out of the window. The ball doesn't go straight into the direction you threw it (despite the gravitational pull). It als would fly/fall into the direction you car is driving. Get it? Anything else would be against the law of physics. If you'd jump out what happens? You roll over the street , thats what the bullets should do. Fly to the target BUT "roll" in the air in direction the plane is flying. Got it?

i was playing the beta map, and i picked up the tank hunter class. all i did was snipe planes, its so easy because if you wait until they start turning then fire at the wings you usually get damage on the wing and they cant stop turning so they eventually crash

everytime i get in the bomber the pilot is either 3,000 feet up and I can't aim at anything, or the bomber crashes within 20 seconds. I don't want to fly them either, because I love the fighter plane too much.

I notice a lot of bomber pilots don't use the spot 'camera' feature under their plane?. I use it quite a lot and its pretty effective, helps all the team and especially the gunners as well to more easily identify enemy ground troops/targets.

It really irks my ocd that despite the ~30 round mag on the front turret of the bomber, just shooting the thing too much makes it just flat out overheat without any reloading animation or something akin to your character clearing a jam of any kind...

You have to be the squad leader and if you hold the spot button and select go go go you should whistle, sometimes it does break and you end up having to do it a couple times.

I can understand why DICE made the bombers team spawn in BF1, since not many players use team play anymore (see the landship: it was a squad spawn and because of that it was always empty, so it was shit). I don't think this is correct, though. My perfect solution would be to have extra seats (maybe with small secondary guns) which are teamspawn and the main guns are squad spawn. I don't think this will ever happen, though. My realistic solution would be to choose between squad spawn and team spawn before going in, and having an option to eject the players.
