I like the unpredictability of the horse jumps. Let's remember that a horse is not really a vehicle. It's a living breathing creature with a mind of its own. Sometimes it may jump, and sometimes it may not!

One pretty obvious but useful tip is to always approach a situation clockwise. Lets say you want to capture a flag that the enemy team is defending, you should sorround that circular capture zone clockwise so you have the opponents on your right side an can kill them with your sword.

YOU CAN SABRE SWIPE ON EITHER SIDE OF HORSE. It was available in the beta and it has never been changed. It has nothing to do with the camera switch, rather, the player swings on whatever side of the centerline the players cursor is pointing on. You can swing left from left camera or swing right from left camera or any other combination. You just have to be sure your cursor has moved over the horse onto the side that you wish to swing from.

I went 30 and 0 on conquest playing cavalry the other day, pretty funny towards the end of the game when half their team was going for just me and we all-capped them. It's probably a little OP still but given the limited number of horses you can spawn on, and the direct counters eg melee takedowns etc, it's a class I wasn't expecting to be playing so much.

I like to run circles around landships because they don't have the machine guns on the rear and sides, only on the front. It's quite fun to see them try turning around to get a shot off with the cannons while you just simply walk out of the way. Pelting them with light AT grenades of course :)

Solution to swiping left being too OP could be, that it has to be done manually and running people over actually doesn't one-hit kill them unless they are prone. Also it would be nice to have non-elite cavalry spawns.

Hey so I know this video isn't about the conquest game mode, however I do have an idea about it. So what if they have the current system that is in place in the beta at launch and soon after launch come out with a free dlc for "Conquest Classic?" Now you have a game mode for different play styles. In the "Conquest Classic" the medic class will be more viable and the syringe will actually be used. And now support will also have a role again since taking out enemies will count for the bleed. And this will allow for that more cautious gameplay from previous games. On top of this keeping the new conquest will allow for this new bum rush style of gameplay that some people in the community are liking. Obviously the point systems will have to be balanced so that playing one will not get you a ton more points than the other, but hey it's just an idea and I'd love to know what everyone thinks. Thanks!

Pretty sure adopting the horses damage values when dismounting is a bug. It doesn't make sense that the rider has normal damage when on the horse, but all of a sudden becomes super human when they get off.

Assuming Cavalry will be changed for launch , it would be understandable if they change up the meds and/or ammo concept. However, taking the armor away in any capacity would be a mistake. Hope they don't go that route. Really enjoyed this class (on the horse) in the Beta. Thought it was balanced perfectly while riding.

The cavalry, the hit detection is way off, sabres seem to have 3.5 meters range. At least when i died to cav, it seemed that way. The Bayonett-charge is pretty useful against dismounted cav aswell, yet it is 100% useless against a mounted cav, since cav counts as vehicle. They need to fix that, the bayonett charge should allow for countering cavalry, or at least hurting the horse and stopping it.

Alright, I'm not downing your video or anything but I'd like to request an entire video on how to effectively counter a "Calvary" instead of a fifteen second segment. After watching this I'm already getting ready for everyone and their friend to play this "class". All they're hearing is,"It's OP and this is how you use the exploits available at this time." and it ain't right. As far as avoiding tanks and what not, I've taken out tanks on horseback while being a medic because I killed the soldier off of the horse and took it. It CAN be done,folks, don't be scared lol

Quick question. When you're in the city area and you've got, say a dismounted cavalryman, sniping guys out in the open can you use the rocket AT gun the assault class has to get rid of his cover like RPGs in BF4? Or is a tank shell/AT gun shell the only thing that will do it.

It isnt a scimitar, its just a normal sabre. A scimitar gets broader towards the end of the blade.

I think a good way to balance the class would to just take away the med kit and only let them place it when on a horse. I feel like dice might want the Calvary to be a fast charging support but with how tanky the class is with ammo bags and med bags it's OP. If you take away med kits while on foot this could help balance the class as they wont be able to heal. Also your more exposed on the horse so that extra hp combined with a med kit is fine. Just nerf the accuracy of the gun while on a horse too, although not being very accurate it's pretty good accuracy in this game considering how you can snipe people while hip firing on the move.

If they removed the bipod requirement from the at rocket gun I believe that the combat would be much more balanced in this game. Tanks are powerful and take teamwork to take out, which is totally fine. The only thing is if a tank stays at range the only reasonable way to take it out as assault is the at rocket gun, and tanks/snipers are very powerful at taking out stationary targets at range. Just my opinion. Let me know what you all think.

I'm going to reveal my little secret about the horse that no one seems to know about...if you have a horse, pick up one of the battle pickups like the flamethrower, and continue playing as the horse! You get so much extra health from the pickup's, it makes it so much harder for infantry to take you out. :)
