RyZe I have 2 favorite main classes in no order they are both #1 they are the ( assault!., and the support!!!.) I 💚 these classes I'm very good at both my most used assault weapons are the shotgun's and the Luis gun or any of the automatic assault rifles and for support is that big machine gun that fire's the 200 round bullet box and carry's 400 rounds of bullets in all. and Lot's of other weapons for support that I use. for my assault secondary weapon aka pistols my most used one is before I say what it is please don't hate! its the howada pistol the one that's got 4 barrels I use it because of it's damage and fast firing speed!. for support it's the you probably guessed it it's the fommer stop automatic pistol the reason is simple great damage and it's full auto!! hash tag ww2 glock 18 lol! good joke right.?

Needs a nerf. If you aren't above assault 9 you are immediately outmatched by any player with this gun, pisses me off. You shouldn't unlock guns that are just overall way better as you become more experienced, you should unlock guns with higher damage but require more skill to master, the hellriegel does not require skill, just luck of encountering someone at a lower rank.

thinkgaming In other Battlefield games like BF3 and BF4, the assault was also the medic, medics in BF1 are encouraged to move alongside the assault players, providing health, revives and assistance, which involves more teamplay. The assault players need to protect the medics in close ranges too, so really, everyone needs to play their roles more-so and help each other to succeed in BF1.

This gun is God OP. All too many times I've been witness to one man or two with this weapon holding off entire squads of riflemen simply because of the Hellriegel's bottomless magazine. No amount of recoil changes will really nerf this gun, they need to nerf it's mag size.

Honestly the Hellriegel is a pretty rare sight these days, as most players tend to prefer the Beretta m1918 or SMG08/18. The gun is actually fairly balanced now.

Still a pretty devastating weapon even after the patch. I unlocked it the other day having previously been using the Automatico. Yesterday I took out three guys clustered together in a trench with one mag. Obliterated them :) Pretty impressed with it. It can do range but not well. Takes some control but I have managed to take out some distant enemies aiming down the sights. E.g. I was playing Sinai up in the cliffs above objective A and I was taking people out down on the ground with controlled shots. It's a nice weapon.

Well balanced with the shotgun and automatico, killing slower than either and with worse hipfire, but with a nice sized mag and better range than the aforementioned guns. This is coupled with what is still a very competative ttk compared with any other gun in the game. I would probably take the shotgun or automatico when I feel I'm spawning into a situation where I'll be able to dictate engagement distances. If I don't think I'll be able to control this, then I'll choose the more flexible Helriegel.

rubberwoody I can understand why you'd think that because it's basically the strongest gun in the game. Half the issues this weapon has can easily be remedied with experience and half-decent recoil management. Personally, despite the weapon being strong, I think it just needs a slight increase in the time it takes to bring the weapon up after sprinting. The TTK on it is one of the highest in the game and the magazine size is ridiculously large so increasing the time it takes to lift the weapon up after sprinting would make it more balanced in face-to-face engagements. As for now though, I would advise using the Automatico Trench/Storm or the Model 10 Hunter as both are ridiculously strong in CQC environments, especially against the Hellriegel.

Helrigel is good, but kind of an odd weapon to call OP. It is very good no doubt about it, but its hip fire is the worst of all assault guns and it has the slowest TTK of all assault guns besides the MP18. In fact the Medic 8.25 offers a faster TTK with only slightly worse hipfire. You also can't mount a bayonet on the Helrigel, which I may quite good use of. The big mag is the Helrigel's biggest plus, but you are in trouble with this gun while running around in CQB scenarios against weapons with faster TTK and much tighter hip fire spreads. Still, the Helrigel is generally my pick if I plan to play Assault on Conquest since the gun has slightly better range than most other assault primary weapon options, and with 64 player, the mag cap is quite useful. While I'm effective with the Helrigel, I don't find myself shaking my head at how ludicrously awesome my performance is with it as happens with the Hunter. It's good, but hardly OP. It fits a niche with the other two assault options. If anything, the MP18 could use a buff.

Dude I found the most INSANE combo for the Hellriegel! On Xbox it's hold RT, on PS4 it's hold R2, and on PC it's hold left mouse! The only problem is overheating, but it only lasts .5 seconds and takes around 45 shots to activate so ur fine!

Another gun EA really fucked up with balance wise. After every game I play that our team ends up winning I always piss off the hellriegel users and almost instantaneous I get bombarded with insults that only can be described as what a 12 year old would say in his first encounter with a bully because that's all these people know how to use and it's a cheap way to get kills. In my experience just use the B.A.R, I found that raping targets who use the hellriegel fairly easy.

I had that problem. It's no longer a short range weapon and instead is a close range weapon, you'll eventually get used to the recoil like I did. I destroyed with it pre-patch (PS4) then they nerfed it and I couldn't control it, I used it a bit more and now I once again destroy with it.

To nerf and proper balance this noob's gun DICE have to redesign the overheating mechanics. Currently hellriegel overheats after 40 bullet fired. I say lower that to 30 and we should be ok.
