As a scout you can have 6 active tripwires at once, 2 of each type. The game only doesn't allow to place the third of the same type and they don't disappear after you die. So to be the most effective you might want to rotate the type of the tripwire each time you die.

useless fun fact: you can glitch the horn on the dreadnought. Similarly how you did that glitch with the arty truck, when you are in third person holding down the horn switch to the firing/first person mode and it will stay blaring until you go back into third person again.

2042 is a better choice today. > 1. No cheaters. 2. No brigtness issues and blinding lens flare effects(like bf is a casual shooter and not a freaking real war simulator, why tf you put such a strong distracting disgusting effect in multiplayer???????) 3. Predictable, not random, shooting. 4. Better graphics. 5. Better progression. 6. Better customization. 7. Better scopes. 8. Better map balance(much better). 9. MUCH BETTER BALANCE OVERALL. 10. No enemy spotting problems. 11. Much more guns(i mean usable ones.). etc. Tried 2042 on free access, and never played bf1 before. Bought both with huge discount and bf1 is annoying af. Fucking airplane bombers, tank players, mg rats... And shooting feels like it was created exlusively for consoles. Like some full-auto guns cant even shoot TWO FUCKING BULLETS in your crosshair, and counterstrafe DOEST EXIST here to help you. I played a lot of bfbc2(like 2.5k hours), bf4 1200 hours, bf3 1.5k hours, skipped 1-2042 when they released, and just tried 2042/1 rn i can clearly tell that bf1 is THE WORST bf in terms of competitive multiplayer. Maybe 2042 was in a bad state when its released, but bf1 is just bad. It looks very good especially considering its age, but thats all thats good about this game, idk why everyone even say like its the best bf whatever. Its probably a good console experience(ESPECIALLY WITH AUTOHDR OLED MONITORS LMAO 😂), but for pc i choose 2042.

Another tip, if you put down just one AT mine and then one Dynamite on top of it, it will instantly kill almost any tank in the game, except for the Char 2C and the heavy tank, the A7V. Unfortunately, if you die after placing the traps down, the dynamite will disappear, making one-shots unlikely, although, the AT mine will stay. You need to remember to place the mine down FIRST as the game will not allow you to place the mine over Dynamite. This is what i run in the event theres a camping tank on the enemy team, as well as running Light AT grenades for the A7V

These videos are great! Many things I did know, but also many things I had no idea about! Ideas for future videos: *The Burton and light flanker tank canister shells give you a lot of score when shooting the airship, but they don't do a lot of damage for the score (especially compared to AA), a lot of people don't know this and think that the Burton is insane vs the airship because of the high score given when shooting it, when it actually does minimal damage. *The livens projector, both in general, where it is (Caporetto, one in spawn + one for each flag after capturing, Somme, attacking team for A flag, Paschendaele, for E flag), and that if you teamswitch with livens gas active, the gas switches teams and kills your old team :o Is this also true for regular gas by the way? AT mines do not switch team when you teamswitch, think it's the same with tripwires. *Does perks like inconspicuous, awareness and quick unspot affect vehicles? I genuinely don't know, would be nice to see this examined. *Ammo crate vs pouch gadget resupply time. Can be fun to demonstrate with an Assault throwing AT grenades and being resupplied by 2 supports with pouches :) *Anti-plane-squad, 3 assaults firing AA rocket guns at the same time at an attack plane (or 4 if it's a Muromets) *Seat switching in a tank if it's disabled by someone who keeps shooting at you with a rocket gun to quickly deal with them if you have no gunners (but beware of someone spawning into the driver seat). Also switching to the rear machine gun in a bomber/attack plane if there is a fighter plane behind and you have no gunner. *Placing an AT mine + dynamite next to a tank, then shooting it, will make the kill show as being made with the gun and not the explosive. Fun way to get tank kills with the kolibri :) Extra good for camping mortar trucks of course. *General Liu alternate firing mode. Feels like many people don't know about this, I'm often accused of cheating when I 1-shot enemies from 100m as a medic. *One more tip for the infiltrator, shoot the flare at a high enough angle in the general direction you want the flare to land, then click again when the map view is up and you can stop the flare at the exact location you want it. Also, your artillery will destroy the spawn beacon. *Healing times, how long until it kicks in for regular/with the quick heal perk/for an elite class. Also, how long does it take to heal say 90 dmg (RSC headshot) without the quick heal perk/with, with a medic crate, with a medic pouch, with both and with both + the medic perk reciprocity while healing someone else with a crate (the combination of those 3 should be the fastest healing in the game)? *Collateral bullet damage, most people think it's just for scout rifles, but I think all weapons penetrate, shotguns maybe being an exception? How many people do the bullets penetrate through, any difference with different weapon types?

Thanks for the comment. I know that the inconspicuous perk does not affect vehicles, and the awareness/unspot does not affect vehicles, only players. I show this in this video and the perks guide sort of.

An alternative to medic smoke is support smoke. Use the ammo crate and you get grenade ammo back super quick for smokes and can keep doing it forever. Extra infiltrator tip: You can stop the artillery flare mid flight, very useful on maps like Heligoland where you can position it in the dreadnaught's path and do massive damage to it.

A possible variable when trying to get a hit marker to counter the bayonet charge is that on the first try you already had your saber out, perhaps the animation for drawing the saber slows you down enough to not get the hit on the enemy

@Kmancometh I looked at the bayonet charge testing and I found out why you weren't successful on the other tests after the 55 hit on the 55 hit you already had the melee weapon pulled; in the other tests you tried using the melee when holding your primary/secondary my guess is that if you already pulled your melee out (which wont be the case in 99,9% of scenarios) your slash/hit will be like an overwatch style of melee attack that does its dmg to an enemy (once) at any point of the animation (allowing you to so something called 'meleeweaving' where you drag your mouse across the screen) In BF1 its the same, except for the fact that it can't dmg multiple enemies in one hit So with the melee weapon already out, it will do its dmg nomatter what; With the primary(or any other gadget drawn) it performs a 'quick strike' that wont allow for the extended dmg period

For the bayonet counter yes it is possible to counter it with a melee, If they already are low on health and you time it just right. I have tested it and it is possible.

REAL DEEP. I wonder if the short SMLE carbine actually is the most stealthy rifle in Battlefield 1? Not Enfield silenced because it still creates a huge scope glint. So in buildings, it looks like standing further back to hide rifle smoke while having shorter rifle barrel is most efficient for remaining undetected. Does the rifle smoke change depending on environment and weather? That would be really amazing.

I've been playing this game over 1200+ hours and still can't understand the reload mechanic of Limpet Charge. Limpet Charge has a weird recharge rate. When you hit the enemy, it quickly recovers itself. If you can hit nobody, it recovers too long even if spamming ammuniton. Sometimes it doesn't reload till dying. Is there any penalty time or trick for Limpet Charge?

Using a melee to counter a bayonet charge is possible. They have to be low on health and u have to be quick enough to start the animation.

Do you know if you need to keep the crosshair on them a minimum amount of time for the spotting time to reset? Cause I tried glancing back and forth between spotted targets to keep them spotted but it didn't work.

Vehicles are spotted for longer than players, but switching to other targets might just need you to use the spot button again for each target.
