Nice video Matti! here some few more tricks that ive learnt through my time flying in this game 1. Flying Straight up when trying to repair works best for me as enemy planes usually expect planes repairing to be going horizontally , also once u reach the flight ceiling u just turn around so it keeps you closer to the combat, also for those that dont know you can also control your speed while repairing by pressing W and S 2.Get comfortable at looking back and around you while in the plane , its not as easy as in bf4 but personally i rebound my middle mouse button to my right mouse button to make looking back in the plane easier , always after i strafe with darts and i fly away while looking back, this allows me to spot planes easier and next potential trench farm targets

Planetside 2 flying is hard as shit... I definitely agree, also i used to play some War Thunder and it sucks because i cant apply some maneuvers i learnt on there to bf1

Benjamin Woschitz duuude, I tried to apply BnZ to BF1 but it's not as effective, also, haven't found ways to control each aspect of the plane individually (rudder, elevator) .... nor figure out a way to have my speed in the HUD.... also, any way I can rotate my camera while in the plane to find targets (kinda like in WT?)

Hey matti, do you think you could do a video on some specific maneuvers? For example, what do you do to get rid of a tail? That's the most annoying thing I've encountered is when I get a fighter on my tail and he can't shoot me down but I can't shake him off so we end up playing chase for five minutes.

When your pulling evasive maneuvers don't do barrel rolls turn to the side up the turn on an angle downwards in the opposite direction the other player won't be able to find you that's when you get them

Barrel roles are all about getting to another part of the map, turning like you describe is something I do all the time, but it makes you vulneable to all fire from below not only AA. Whenever you take fire you lose maneuverability and your circles get bigger

Another great guide Matti always appreciate good advice. The one area i sometimes struggle in even more so now that i have turned the chase camara roll off is air 2 air combat its sometimes tricky to stay on target and keep calm and controlled but i am getting better. Do you have any advice on how to keep your cool whilst in combat or being shot at by the AA would really appreciate it if you have any.

cropoynting For clan matches theres already been quite a few DF's and players dropping 30 killstreaks in the ESB test cups so far, I think people will practice in 1v1's etc just to get better and to prepare for scrims and tournaments at the very least.

Just practice, most people on PC was using joystick playing BF3 and bf4, quite similar to controller

Speed control isn't anything like bf3 or 4, you can stall and maneuver stalling and my AA counter videos are separated from this tutorial as are my A2A tips. This tutorial is mainly about the more common situations pilots faces, or saved at the time

Hey man your vids have helped me average 0-2 plane kills per game to 7-15 kills in just a week. Can you explain to me how is it ground infantry have red markers over their heads some times with out me flaring them when it's like that it's super easy to get kills from above, my flares are different they only mark them on the mini map but I can't see it over their heads

Great tutorial, I know DICE gives zero fucks about skill and only cares about money from casuals, but you became well know in PS2 and yeah DBG is another crap company that nerfed the skill in ESF's time after time, but alotta people still watched your PS2 shit. I would really try to get in touch with a dice Dev, your stream and YT influence might help for an AA nerf (the plane being thrusted down is really the worst) if anything making a write up about the competitive and skill aspects of planes/AA etc with alot of views really might bring necessary light onto the issue, as we all know how horrible the mainstream BF youtubers are, not simply how bad they are but the fact all of them are actually sponsored by DICE/EA now lol great video as always and great flying, Scythe isn't OP lel
