After handling a real 20mm one it's pretty hilarious how casually the player characters can sprint with one, or pose with one in the main menu. Talk about unassuming strength!

Honestly it kinda perpelexed me why they bothered making the NTW into a .50 cal, when there could've been ANY other .50 cal bolt action that would've been more suitable. Unless their original aim was to have a "modern anti-tank rifle" in which case they could've kept it a 20mm but just made it function like the BF1/V Anti-Tank rifles where you needed to mount the thing to use it.

I'm pretty sure DICE learnt from BFV that mandatory bipod mechanics are detrimental to gameplay. The AMRs weren't even that good in BFV (nor were the MMGs, which also had that gimmick), and yet it was tacked on. Also it seems like the NTW is still a 20mm, given the rounds in the magazine. Very weird choice.

​@Slenderneer Yea because it heavily forcefully slows down the player's gameplay and for a game that requires decent mobility at any given time basically makes the gun nearly worthless for almost all situations. Still, the NTW is a gun with zero practical purpose ultimately. Cause if you need anti-material....just run Crawford and blow up what you need to...or pick up/wait for a vehicle...sacrificing a main weapon slot for a "meh" weapon is a waste compared to the op as fuck weapon that is the rpg.

Ravic and Musick were in a clan together back in the day and played on the same competitive team. I'm not sure how Kia joined the group. I think Kia started playing with Ravic after he and TheRussianBadger collaborated years ago.

2:54 - Yeah DICE, this is not jarring at all. My character is running, sliding and jumping with a .50 cal sniper rifle but this animation has to be "realistic" (more like weird), because of "muh immersion" - I loved to play with the SWS, not supressed because of the sound, when the game first launched. It was so much fun. Then they gave a slow ADS for no reason. - Name suggestions: "One shotting", "One Shotted"... not too creative. But not a gun that i found too many things to create.

the ntw wouldve been a pickup weapon if the dev cycle of this game was less of a mess all those years back... which is a shame because its way more amusing to stumble upon a metal beam shaped like a rifle that shoots big bullets then to lug it around by default

Im sure this is common knowledge to some but i have a question. I know each class is proficient in certain weapon categories. I honestly forget that each class can use every weapon. My question is is there a real big difference when one class uses weapons they not proficient like for example DMRs and Sniper Rifles? Like is it harder to ADS for those long distance shots if i play Assault with a Sniper Rifle instead of Recon?

I was checking the stats and it looks like its just a down grade of the stock rounds; 3 rounds, -5 handling -infantry damage, -recoil control, and -projectile velocity. is this just a meme mag or what's the deal with it???

No idea, it might have been different in older versions of the game but it's always seemed like a downgrade as far as I know. My guess would be they were trying to not give the one shot to the body weapon too much ammo so instead of leaving it with the single type of ammo they gave it one more that was a lesser version so the player would "have something to unlock" because that is apparently all players care about these days, quantity not quality.

In the Hovercraft or LATV4 Recon yes it can kill those drivers but in anything else no, unless you are also including the quadbike and similar vehicle in which case it's the same as the rest with which is yes you can.
