Good jet players don't bother me, but heli abusers do. As soon as I start to win a fight with them they tuck tail and run to the AA turret. It is the worst part of the game, those turrets.

@@kingragnork Yeah Attack Jets are way more balanced imo. You need a good amount of skill and caution to really prosper. But Attack Choppers just sitting behind buildings and letting their gunner farm is so cancer and boring. Especially on maps like Shanghai were there's very little Anti Air and cover. I respect a high kill jet, I hate a high kill chopper. However nothing more satisfying than sniping one out

Try using the cannister shell. It destroys air vehicles. Most chopper pilots have a bad habit of coming in low to do as much DPS. When they come in at you drive toward them with acitve protection. As they pass you can cannister them 99% of the time and kill them. Also if you have a squad, equip the SUAV and PLD on a recon class while the squadmates use javelins. Depending on your height in relation tk the building the heli tries to hide behind, the javelin will go over the top and does 90dmg. If youve got a couple engineers to fire rockets, the choppers dont stand a chance.

I not the best but I play AA quite a bit. I worry most about good attack jet pilots with JDAM skills. Also C4 jeeps, buggies and jets, yes C4 jets! Here are my tips: 1. Never sit in one spot, keep moving and don't drive in straight lines. Harder to hit with JDAM. 2. Equip air radar . If you are vigilant, its harder for jets to sneak up on you 3. Run 20mm guns, they rip up aircraft due to higher bullet travel speed and fire rate. 4. Use Zunis instead of missiles. Good pilots don't will avoid or survive missiles or all types. Zunis can be used against infantry and vehicles. 5. Use APS. Combined with air radar and some practice, you can avoid many JDAM/gun runs. 6. Use IR optics, not zoom. If enemy is far enough for you to need to zoom your guns will be ineffective. IR is useful against infantry, use regular optics against vehicle and aircraft. Always spot before you start shooting. Jet guns block you view but you can still see your our spot. 7. Get in the fight , run with a tank or two. You help keep them safe from infantry and air vehicles, and they protect you from other vehicles. A few zunis will allow a tank to win most tank on tank battle. Jets and helos aren't expecting you to be at a flag as 99% of AA people camp near their base and spam missiles. 8. Be patient and wait for the best time to fire at jets and helos. If you start shooting too early you can overheat your guns before getting a kill. In addition, good pilots will pull up or dive and go out of range. Wait until you know you can get the kill in one gun run. This along with learning how far to lead your shots takes practice. As an example, watch for jets making low altitude gun runs. Shooting at the right time will kill them out right or disable them and force a crash. 9. Know when and how to run (use your speed advantage and obstacles to avoid incoming rpgs and vehicle rounds). advantageous 11. Play on servers that have US vehicles on both sides. US AA is so much better than the Tangusta. Faster and looks like IFVs so harder to spot. 12. Play as engineer with repair. Try to get cover under a bridge or inside a building to repair if possible.

Ya know, I admit this has two perspectives. I want to commend this guy for his awesome Jet skills, His manuvers and tackle of commentary as well is spot on. I cannot even fathom the difficulty to commentate and fly, Destroy the enemy and absolute Demolishes all the tanks with APS. One side of this is that I love how they are all "Tunnel" visioned with Silk in the Attack Jet almost the entire team is focused on getting rid of the attack jet which is beneficial to the team if they realize that, utilizing the opportunity to not have vehicles the combat with Infantry is also going to be intense as in my opinion gives the team opportunity to collect the objective. However, on the other side of the spectrum I can see why they are frustrated and irritated and it isn't really fun when you get absolutely demolished in the game, Usually this is argued with user error and with a experienced Pilot that dedicates the GAU Cannons and JDAM bombs.

I like to use tows from the lav to shoot down those jets. Its so sad that it only needs one good jet pilot to dominate all vehicles. Even the aa cant do anything if its busy. It has to deal with all ground units like c4 cars, tanks and infantry.

Man, I remember playing Golmud Railway, attack jet, hardcore - that was something else No minimap, barely anyone was spotting, those were some great games Gain altitude, look around your cockpit (no 3rd person), look for targets, spot them, move on the attack, fall back, LAND and repair cause there was no auto repair (or I thought there weren't, if there were, it was super slow and I didn't even have a way of knowing my hp anyway without landing and repairing) It was great
