Just in case Dice decide to patch the Hovercraft, we wanted to push it to limit and involve it in every single one of Battlefield 2042's levolutions! The results were pretty spectacular. It's perfectly OK to enjoy something and have fun with it while also being critical. The game is still a $60 game at the end of the day (with even more expensive editions available if you want) that's a buggy mess and missing tons of very basic features that previous games in this series had.

This game has literally unlimited potential and can be played for many years. Easy money for Dice if they can iron out the bugs and meet the older fan base half way by bringing back some of the classic bf elements.

It’s just an issue of time, they have to do it slow enough so then the results are not rush but they have to do it fast enough so then all the remaining players don’t leave the game forever, that was kind of the situation with battlefield five where when they added the Pacific update practically everyone already left the game despite all the content that came with it making the game 10 times better and actually being a good battlefield title, with barely any people coming back to check out the content that was added, the game died

Ah, good old battlefield. Where a hovercraft can bonk a osprey to its death, a tiger tank can shoot a 88 mm heat round in your face, a modern jet that can roleplay as a 3000 kg guided bomb going mach 2, or get ac-130 by a bomber plane .

It's a lot of fun, my biggest complaints were performance and a lot of the guns didn't seem viable. Seems this is being addressed soon.

Massive performance issues, a SHIT ton of bugs, and the specialist system is just so dumb. If they got rid of specialists and fixed the bugs the game would be great.

You know the Hovercraft climbing the walls thing is kind of realistic. I don't think it could climb whole skyscrapers irl but it could defiantly climb smaller walls.

It's absolutly not. Hovercrafts work by blwing air into the skirt, creating a cushion. The skirt needs to be somewhat sealed to the ground. The largest object you can run over is smaller than the skirt is high

@@4ether607 no you don't understand, we CANNOT continue to accept this as consumers. The mindset of "they will fix it later" and "they will add more content later" has got to go when talking about new releases. We have clearly given them the wrong impression, which is we are fine with this sort of release. This game is in an unacceptable "full release" state and this sort of release will just continue to happen if we keep putting up with it. Ultimately producers only care about money and they are the people that fund these projects so if they think they can make just as much money on an unfinished product pushed out early and completed later with a much reduced team as opposed to a finished product that will take longer to see return on, they will keep doing this. Reviews are the only power we have over them so no, I won't allow the few good things about the game to redeem the entire dumpster fire. Just because you find a diamond in the garbage doesn't make the garbage you found it in any less garbage. Much of the "fun" to be had involves groups just fucking about having a good time and that can frankly be done in just about any multiplayer game so that is hardly points in its favor. FFS that is STILL true of Anthem and that game is still bad over-all. Being able to find enjoyment in something and it being inherently easy to enjoy are two different things.

@@ShiningDarknes I haven't played the game so I don't really know how glitchy or incomplete the state of the game is at but you can't just say that fucking around in a game is a thing that every game has therefore it doesn't make it a good game seems like a pretty bad way to look at things if people are having fun that means the game is good for them and a lot of games have had a pretty bad release and still became better games over time and we'll just have to see if it's the case with battlefield
