fr33thy, you should make a guide for people on windows ghost spectre 2004 version. Since its probably the best optimized windows for gaming out there. With toolbox and everything tweaks & installs etc etc and SO much more. Could help alot of people.

@@wraith2403 Nah not really, since ghost is updating it consistanly and has better response, for example csgo! valorant, gta and more. Its much better, atlas?!?! fortnite yes! but other games its worse. Same as ghost, for fortnite its decent. But its WAY less processors running and more options in toolbox! aspecially 2004 version since everything is stripped from scratch. And if you know how to combind the best performing nvidia driver some bios tweaks, nvprofileinspector powerplan, and regedit! its more performance ingame than other versions of an OS.

This is amazing. I never thought I'd find anything like this for BF. I've been playing on PS5 since launch, but just got back onto the PC with a new rig (4090, 13900k). I'm connected to the LG G1 (VRR, G-sync & ALLM @ 4k120 = 5.6ms) in my living room and it looks and sounds (7.2.4 speaker config) glorious. Thank you!

Edit: turning off ea overlay broke the controller layout, i turned it back on. Messed up my controller settings. Cant seem to change the keys... Your conig messed it all up even after undoing everything. I press triangle and its dpad down. X is up. L2

Fr33thy, I had tried your config @1440p and experienced input lag like never before so I had reverted back. There could be something in your settings which the game engine doesn’t like? Maybe try the default config on 1440p or 4K and see if it’s ok on your end.

I usually always run my games stretched, either 1280x1024 or 1440x1080, would changing the width in the PROFSAVE file to 1440 affect anything drastically? other than the FPS counter positioning? And if I am going to change it would it be worth to run my desktop resolution at the same 1440x1080 or wouldn't make much difference?

Have you or anyone experienced the textures not loading on gun models and is the lighting to medium change supposed to fix that ? Setting your fov to default 55 will fix the gun models textures but I play at 90+ and the guns especially portal pistols turn into blobs and sometimes cause texture pop in when ads , game is on m.2 ssd 7900xtx 5800x3d

Hey I am not even able to play 2042 for 10 minutes. The game consumes up to 99% of my 32 GB Ram. I dont know what else to do. Im using ISLC but it doesnt help as it seems to be a memory leak of some kind. I have repaired the game, updated my drivers, installed the game new and tried several different things. Can you help me with this problem? I have a Ryzen 9 5900X, 32 GB Ram and a 3060 TI. BIOS is updated and settings are fine. I use XMP profile 1. Precision Boost is on.

first time i hear about 1:1 aim in bf2042 that i acutally feel good about it but how can i calculate it to be with the higher scopes? it feels really fast

you don't, 1:1 is best for 1x sights, as for higher scopes, try using uniform soldier aim and then fine tuning each sensitivity

@@Kite-asura actually i got used to it by now on what he recommended settings with 1:1 even with higher scopes its now easier To be honest i never liked uniform soldier aim no matter the fine tuning etc..

I don’t think so, as long as your max fps is not too high over the monitor refresh rate it should be fine. 300 should be okay for 240hz monitor

@@kabbeee yes absolutely cap at 240. I have a 13900 ks and a 4090 so I get over 300fps even on high settings you absolutely want to cap it @ 240 through Nvidia control panel.

i have a problem which cannot be solved and i need help I did the config file and i play everything low and dlss balanced mode i get around 110 min 150max fps on rtx 2060 and i5-12400f Then when i play the game on next day i boot on , fps drop to 70-100fps ....
