Still running original R1 with firmware updates. I live in northwest Arkansas and its huge for keeping me in low ping lobbys. It always tried to throw me in 100 ping east coast or west coast and this router locks me into central servers. ITS AMAZING. The weighting in matchmaking is exponentially higher on skill the higher skill you get. I have extensive test's over the course of thousands of games. YOu wont get past sbm with this router but it does ensure low and stable ping. I will say black ops 6 is really fun in local servers. Its pretty obvious how bad sbm has effected skilled gamers experiences. It wouldnt be that bad if high skill didnt force you into higher and higher ping servers.

Hey Freethy, we need an optimization guide for the game Hunt Showdown. It's the best extraction shooter right now, but I don't see anyone working on optimizations for this game. I would not recommend the VG259QM as the best budget monitor right now, I have the monitor set at 280hz 120 OD and causes this weird thing for me that everything looks and feels slower, the bullets just don't seem to connect well too. When I change the monitor back to its default 240hz 60 OD everything seems to return to normal. Not sure what the problem could be because the 280hz overclock you recommend then the 120 OD is recommended by RTINGS at the max refresh rate. Any help would be appreciated, maybe I'm doing something wrong.

While I think it's pretty awesome, I'm not able to utilize a bunch 3erd party audio programs I use (system is not producing sound when programs are set as defaults or are disabling other audio programs when run; SS sonar example). IM STUCKED at 50fps or less, i have 5800x3d and 7900xt, after benchmark it says cpu bottleneck 100%. Is my pc broken? Im playing in a 3440 x 1440 monitor and in game i set everything at the lowest, how is it even possible?

Settinga worked great tweaked a few only issue maybe you can help some rock and ground textures are black did this to me before had to run in safe mode to fix then re adjust all the settings again which i really don't wanna do

So I was getting 120fps no problem using fidelityCAS and rendering about 67 (as close to 2560x1440p) to play 4k on my big living room tv and had no issues with my 10900k+3090FE but season 1 dropped and now there is absolutely nothing I can do to fix the massive performance drop i got hit with. Can only hit 25fps irregardless of settings. Tried repairing and verifying the game file. ReInstalling. Installing all the cod content packs (mw3 and warzone) rBAR enabled only made it worse. I used DDU to clean up and roll back to the previous driver. No fix there either. I honestly don’t know what else to try.

In my case, Rebar yielded better 1% FPSs so keep experimenting guys.

This is what console does not only upscaling but capping the FPS to get a smoother experience. This can be done better in PC since PC has better hardware even if its the same exact hardware as the current PS5 PRO 3700x & RX 6800XT. Even thought the one in the PS5 is weaker due to power limiting to avoid overheating issue, yep you can think of it as a laptop instead of a PC. Findings the highest possible most stable FPS you can reach and capping it to that FPS will result in much smoother experience, the one causes stuttering is the frame dips for example 200 FPS then suddenly dipping to 100 FPS or below that will result in stuttering the lesser the gap the more the lesser the stutter is. However to avoid losing the faster response time you don't want to cap it at 60 75 or 120 FPS like in console.. you want to cap it higher than that as long as your system can handle those FPS .

I have also noticed that the "rendererworkercount" setting mentions "threads" instead of "cores". My 14900k is 8 core/16 thread so I'm not sure why setting this to 7 is beneficial. Is there any particular reason why this is?

So I've been having a big issue with packet burst, even with a 14900k. I realized I hadn't reduced the rendererworkercount to 7, so I changed that, and my bottleneck went from roughly 50/50 with a 4090 and 14900k to 98% gpu, but I also lost some performance. I'm unsure why. Regardless, I am still running into packet burst on a regular basis. I've read that this is either a network issue or a cpu issue. Since reducing the renderworkercount setting to 7, it is less frequent, but still happening. To be honest, I've seen so many videos claiming "this setting fixes it" but it never does and nobody has concisely explained exactly what packet burst is. Do you know? Do you have any idea what settings could fix this? I have more than adequate cooling, running intel extreme spec, and in 3440x1440 with your settings I'm getting roughly 218fps in benchmark (which is less than you get in 4k). The game is more than playable, outside these packet burst issues which completely ruin the experience and I feel like is one of the major causes of desync and hit reg issues. I'm not positive though. Any help is appreciated.
