There are so many things you could ask about this game, like why they used a recon vehicle as the AA. Or why factions share vehicles. The answer is the same, dice incompetence.

Yes, for close protection against infantry, usually I use 60mm Flak to max AA firepower and change from time to time.

A lot of updates ago Dice buffed the lock on distance with the heatseekers of the wildcat, they can lock on up to 800 meters

650 m according to a test I did in Portal server while I'm writing now, all settings of the server were default.

Yes, I will definitely do a video about M1A5, but I'm not sure if it'll be exactly the next video or the one after it. I miss the server browser in BF3 and 4 and the ability to know the next map in rotation, and the ability to switch factions, it was easier to target a specific content , like a map or vehicle .. now it's harder to get good map + specific faction.
