This is the Battlefield I started with (did play the BC2 beta but didn’t get the game, just got into COD with the og mw2 and black ops at the time) enjoyed BF3s campaign, LOVED the multiplayer even though it wasn’t the full experience playing on ps3, best premium dlc content I’ve played in any FPS, what a time.. we didn’t know how good we had it, I played A LOT of 2042 but recently deleted it, couldn’t take it anymore, kinda ready for the next BF to get revealed, bring back the roots Dice PLEASE! (Jackfrags lol) I went back to BF4 and play 1 and 5 from time to time, the atmosphere of those games were perfect!

It ​@stephencollins9062 if u can find populated servers then yes it's streets ahead of 2042. You'll notice how clean the game in comparison, as in less bullshit like Makay, dozer, sundance, scatter grenades, spam in general.

Its truly a wonder how good this is compared to the 2024 atmosphere. Its almost like they didn't care at all what the series was standing for, like they knew it but said fck it let's do the complete opposite of what battlefield is lol

BF3 was great, but BF4 was and is my fave. It's my most played BF ever. Granted, i played BF3 on the PS3 and that console supported 'just' 24 players online, so smaller maps than on PC. For BF4 i waited half a year until it released on the PS4, it supported 64 players and ran/looked superior to the PS3 version. Also, the larger maps in comparison to (PC)BF3 is something i usually prefer. BF3 felt a bit too much like ''Bad Company 3' to me, but that's probably the PS3's fault more than anything. The campaign was better than BF4's, but i don't really care for that in a BF game tbh. MP is where it's at!

When I saw the new skins for crawford and makay in season 7 I thought that's it for me. Its a joke compared to bf3/4. The skins, the maps, the product as a whole are a joke. Dice have dug their own hole as far as I'm concerned, which is sad because this was a great franchise once upon a time.
