@@GunplayIsntGameplay you have to admit server population was very low, definitely wasn't dead as it would still be easy to join populated servers, but you didn't have nearly the amount of servers and available game modes as they do right now. I've never really stopped playing, I love battlefield 4 and I'm so glad the servers are fully populated once more.

He's just commenting on the mass of activity it's gotten recently because of the announcement of the new game. I don't think anyone here is claiming it was a dead game, hell people still play battlefield 3. Battlefield 4 had active servers, but it was just a few good ones and not a whole lot of dlc servers. It was active but no where near as it it was at launch and nowhere near as it is now.
