@@braixy642 Is this confirmed somewhere? The actual years/dates of the battles depicted in both, BF3 and BF4 are kinda rare to get hold of. BF4 taking place in 2020 comes from the game taking place 6 years after BF3, which in turn is said to take place in 2014 because of that _one_ date we got in the original "Fault Line" trailer. In the game itself there's no mentioning of a year (as far as I know), only months/days. Also the battle in BF3 is usually referred to as "War of 2014" but the problem with that is, the single player story ends November 14, 2014 with the destruction of Paris. The whole multiplayer part is the ensuing battle between Russia (who got the blame for the attacks) and the US but I have a very hard time believing that _all those battles_ were fought between November 14 and December 31, 2014 (which would also mean they started _right away_ on November 14). The events of 2014 may have led to it but it's more realistic the actual "war" started in 2015, _not_ 2014.

Because DICE used real situation in Russia about corruption in army budgets and corruption overall. They have in game, so as in irl, a few hard-to-believe-in-serial-development stuff that will not save physically next to 2042 period. That's why America already got something like heli-planes with rotated wings while Ru still uses helicopters build on the edge-Soviet period blueprints. That was a joke with a huge potion of irony and truth.

Here is my theory: This song is able to depict an atmosphere like the Noshahr Canals theme did. Who the hell never felt hope, death and hapiness at the same time while listhening to OP métro theme? So DICE is possibly going to stick to the history and not into future warfare until the time is right. When Battlefront came out, it was bad, sadly. But it gave me hope in knowing that DICE released a game that will inevitably tell on how the game would look like in Battlefield 2143. I await this day. Please DICE. Don't mess this up!
