Can someone explain one thing to me: why are all the other players in the gameplay shown here so clueless? The player runs around a corner, there's an enemy there and the first thing the enemy does is point his gun at the ground and start running in circles. I notice this with most of the BF4 gameplay videos like Levelcap and Matimio. What kind of servers do you guys play on? For me, when I run around a corner and there's an enemy there, he usually starts firing at me and hitting within half a second.

I find it funny that the Rex is still in battlefield, since in reality it was simply in the prototype phase in the 1990s and never even reached production. So yeah, it was never produced and never left Russia. The Russian military never even used it cuz they use the MP443.

Why use the 45's? As finishers, that's why. Gun fight against multiple enemies, hit final enemy with a few shots of the remaining bullets in primary weapon, switch to secondary for finishing shot(s). If you play pistol only servers, It's a different story.

The bonuses are too mild to actually encourage teamwork and the system is too unreliable, as a result of independent playership, to support getting something that suits the team in the long run. No you see it's there because DICE made a bad design decision. It's there to simulate pulling back the hammer before you fire. They could keep the fire rate exactly the same and stop people spamming, just put the delay after you pull the trigger. Like, every. Other. Gun.

The "delay" you're talking about is Dice trying to incorporate realism into the game. Anybody in the comment section who has fired a firearm before, a revolver in particular, will know what I'm talking about. When you left-click, that simulates the pulling of the trigger, go figure. However, when you pull the trigger of a revolver, the trigger is pulling the hammer back, revolving the cylinder, and letting the hammer fall again onto the round and discharging the weapon. It's called double-action. I explained it in a nutshell, but go ahead and research it. It's annoying in-game at times, but I am fond of the added realism.

If this were a character/protagonist game, in which you customized your character's combat traits (sprint speed, snap action speed, reload times, etc), then it'd be different. But this is Battlefield, an average soldier war experience, in which there are different classes, all of which are customizable in their weaponry. It would be pretty damn cool if they allowed you to customize your soldier's traits too though. That would really set it apart from Call of Duty.

FN Five-seveN. Not "Fifty-seven"... LOL! Although I agree about the .45s for Normal mode, the .45s are BEASTS in Hardcore. They are 2 hit kills in the chest up close, even with defensive spec, and they can OHK in the face! Likewise .44 mag in HC is ALWAYS a 2 hit kill in the body and ALWAYS a OHK in the head regardless of range and defensive. Take advantage of the accuracy and treat it like a pocket DMR. Shotgun primary? .44 secondary!

I hope you read this and make a new video about pistols. The main point of pistols beside revolvers in this game is to hip fire while moving. Cause in aiming or standing you're a sitting duck basically, so you snipe people or shoot them in the back. But against CQB with carabines, assault rifles and ESPECIALLY shotguns you will loose in damage output, so to get on even ground you need to move and dodge the bullets. So that basically makes G18 and M93r cattleshreders, you kill common players but will loose most of engagements to cream of the crop. And here the mistake you made comes into play - attachments matter. Laser will make your hipfire spread tighter, making pistol a dangerous weapon in hands of moving opponent. New sights for a pistol are needed if you shooting distant opponent - as evident from your video, with some of default ironsights it's hard to see shit. I didn't test the third attachment slot variations, but most of all of them have some heavy cons for using them, so I use silencer or nothing. About .45 argument - you didn't count headshots. Taking other point I made into account it's fairly obvious you can land one or two shots in the head, making gap in damage between .45s and other semiautomatic pistols even bigger. And this works in ideal situation where all of you opponents use defencive spec, not talking about real situation. But all that shit doesn't matter as deagle takes the middle ground between arm cannons and accurate weapons for firing on the move, obliterating usefullness of all other pistols. So if you have DLCs, you use deagle, if not - you trying to be precise and faster than your opponent.

Get it on PC if you have at least a GTX 660. Get it on PS4 if you don't. Personally I could not play a game like BF4 on a console. Online FPS games shouldn't be played with controllers, imo.

Statistically, the Compact 45 is supposed to outclass the 1911, but something about it seems.... off. Like the bullets seem to go in totally random directions while the 1911 always hits where I am aiming. Anyone else experience this? That's why its my go-to non-Magnum sidearm.

The m1911 has the best hipfire outta all the pistols. Thats what it has going for it. I know the other stats r worse, but chances r if ur using ur secondary ur not gonna be aiming down sights, and lets face it, a faster rate of fire isn't gonna help u if ur bullets don't connect. Figured id point that out cuz u were trash talking one of my faves :p
