I came here as i found this as one of Kjell Reuterswärd's last posts on facebook, if you don't know who he is, he was a programmer for DICE and died at the age of 34 just days before the release of the game that he was so excited about, Battlefield 4 RIP Kjell Reuterswärd

I never managed to learn how he passed away. But I guess that is of no importance. It was heartbreaking to learn about the story behind this song. Specially when you see how excited he was about the game coming out. Rest in peace, Kjell. We'll miss you.

YTLyricsMaker The assumption by the battlefield community is that he died in a car crash, as just a day before DICE released the statement that one of their programmers had died, Swedish news published articles in news papers about a 34 year old dying in a car crash, it claimed that the roads were very icy and he lost control and collided with the trailer of a parked lorry, luckily he did not have to suffer as emergency crews pronounced him dead immediately, he felt no pain, we feel it for him. Source: Me, I am Swedish so i heard about this when it happened.

My god, I was led here from the Battlefield Singleplayer site after having played the NAW mod for months now and F***ing lovin' it! Yet as I lend an ear to this I admittedly was hesitant from personal experiences with 'fan material' on KZbin.
