@@tracevideoproductions The main things that stick out for me are the gun play mechanics and the progression. There's so much more to do in BFV than BF1. To me, BF1 was great because it was bare bones and sharp gameplay. BFV has even better gun play and has better progression at the start. But that's just my opinion.

TraceVideoProductions most definitely a different experience than bf1. Gunplay is more refined, for example sniping is actually a bit challenging. I love to the play scout, but in 3 and 4 and now 5 I can go maybe 5-1. Bf1 is the only game I was able to go 20+-1 consistently. Which was cool at first but it didn’t feel satisfying over time. Sweet spot was too good. Having actual weapon progression is nice too.

I like the game even if I don't have any friends to play it with. My one gripe is the one I'm sure a lot of solo-players have (as in not in a fixed squad) and that's the sheer amount of people who go purely for the pewpew and not for the teamplays. Like...having a medic on team who never rezzes, just runs around self-healing all the time and trying to get as many personal kills as he can

PuttyGuts simply drop your crate right next to buildable support and medic stations. I did these Tides of War assignments ie. both support and both medic assignments in two maps! Hope that helps!

Universal Carrier because it could carry a number of different weapon load outs or a vehicle/armoured recovery kit or no weapons for transport/casualty evacuation. Hence it can carry all the things you might need it to, it’s universal.

Krag Jorgensen rifle is awesome just because of its unique loading gate style magazine. Also putting yourself at a disadvantage not using extended mag for Thompson because it turns it into 1950 gangsters gun is kinda dumb

It actually makes sense a panzerfaust not being able to take down a plane. They were designed to penetrate armor. Planes didn't have armor. So basically it would just hit and explode and punch a hole though the plane. Most cases it would still be able to fly. Unless you hit the pilot. Look up the internal workings of a panzerfaust or rpg and you'll understand.

The British universal Carrier was called that because it was literally that. A platform that could carry anything from a machine gun to a small anti tank gun, usually a 6 pounder (57mm). Think of it as more of a designation not a name

@Oop Soop Yeah it's great. I'm 30, don't choose to spend as much time gaming as I used to, but it plays really nice and smooth. I haven't experienced any bugs, it looks beautiful and the sound design is incredible. Sure, it's different, I think the time to kill is a little less than battlefield games of the past, but I feel like you have to play a little more cautiously. I haven't played with friends yet, but I've already had a couple of great squad experiences just with random people that I never had in BF1. It seems like there are less guns to choose from, but honestly who ever really played with more than 4 or 5 guns anyway? Plus the classes have more class-specific skills which really encourages a balanced squad. It's fun, sure it's not perfect but if I'm just looking to sit down for a while and play something fun for a bit, this certainly hits the mark. Plus the fact that they aren't doing a seasons pass this time and all additional maps will be included is worth it right there. Sure sounds like I'm a casual gamer, but it's really not the case. Just a different mind set from when I was in high school. So yeah..... I think it's great. See you out there.

In this game, sometimes you die for the stupidest of things. People camping in weird spots, Getting one-shotted from guns that can do that, Tanks or Soldiers that sneak up on you when you don’t hear them. Oh and the AA Tanks are annoying as hell.

No one used the ammo and health crates AND they fall through the floor on certain maps. The cool down periods also seem to be weird. Was an impossible assignment to try achieve.

Love your videos Jack. Just an FYI, The Thompson SMG is a gangster weapon. It was made famous by Mobsters like Al Capone in the 1920's and 30's with the drum magazine long before World War 2. So when you say it looks like a Gangster weapon you are exactly right however that took place during Prohibition which as I said was 20 years or so before WWII. it was used in WWI, but didn't become famous til the Gangster usage, at least to the average joe. Keep up the Awesome work man. You are definitely on the list of my favorite BFV streamers.

My best scores have been at Medic. Medic is much stronger than most people realize; it seems like a lot of folks really are still adjusting to the different way Medics should be played in this one. Suomi KP SMG is a KILLER at close range... has a crazy fast firing rate with good hip fire. (You could also choose a 50 round clip instead.) For the longer range Medic... I prefer the MP34 (with accuracy upgrades, bayonet, and improved firing rate.) With Aperture sights.

I do wish there was another weapon type option though; Medic has the one, SMGs, but Assaults and Recon have 2. Support has 3! I really loved the Semi-Autos medics had in BF1, and I love them for Assault now. I wish medic could keep them in BFV.
