What pisses me off the most is the fact there's skins and weapons teasing a potential Normandy, Battle of the Bulge and the Eastern Front This game had the potential to maybe be more succesful than Bf 1 but bad management and corporate greed ruined it

BFV gunplay coupled with BF1 game modes and map quality? Would absolutely DOMINATE, honestly. Edit: Do you play on PC? I loved BF1, but sadly the population on Xbox is Lacking™, both in numbers and brainpower haha. Also the jankiness from lag made for a rollercoaster ride of emotions heh.

The P38 is a German standard-issue WW2 pistol and didn't see much (if any) action in the Pacific Theatre. I've got a P38 that was produced in East Germany just after the end of WW2. The Japanese: (a) predominantly didn't use pistols, at all (officers often had to purchase them), and (b) used the Nambu pistol, which aesthetically resembles a Luger, but which is mechanically modeled after the Mauser C96.The P38 used a different mechanical system entirely, a system that is the basis of the Glock platform to this day. Due to the Japanese doctrine of pre-capture weapon destruction, very few Nambu pistols still exist in working order.

I think they cleaned up the hackers mostly with a fairly recent update. I definitely haven't noticed any for a while. I do play on community servers though

The saddest part is that this game got into live support just when things began to look good. And it got cut its support to release BF 2042... Which somehow got an objectively and subjectively worse launch, and even nowadays that is receiving its last update, is average

How's the cheater situation on this game? When I played it a few years ago before 2042 launched, the game was actually unplayable due to the sheer amount of cheaters I encountered. Has this been rectified? I assume you just play on community servers to avoid this Also the guy who wrote the soundtrack to BFV, a guy by the name of Johan Soederqvist, wrote the soundtrack to BF1 as well, but he was not brought back for 2042

It is waaaaay better that 2042, but what stops me from playing is the lack of historical accuracy... And I'm not talking about sights, weapons that are completely different from reality. I'm talking about the forced agenda they made us choke with, women fighting alongside men... And also the skins, wtf are even the skins?? Also, removing the social roles that always were in BF, everyone being able to fight tanks, everyone being able to heal soldiers, etc... That's why I keep playing BF1, BF3 and BF4, best games ever.
