DawnWalkerWolf Back in the day, when BF3 was released, the USAS-12 with frag ammo was the deadliest weapon in the game. It was stupidly powerful. I remember those old times when we played Rush in Operation Metro with that weapon. It was a massacre.

Played this game on release back then, the USAS 12 + frags was pretty damn OP that's for sure, especially on maps like the tight version of Noshar canals... Damn so many guys running around with this thing and you could not do jack but get blasted away. That being said, I abused the hell out of the broken thing that the attack chopper was back in the day in BF3 ( severly nerfed in BF4 ) once you knew how to fly low with this thing + flares/ECM + Guided rockets + a good gunner andf thermals for the gunner you could own game so easily. I remember a full 64 player match on the firestorm map. I went 43-0 and my buddy gunner 200+/0 KD ratio in the Mi28. We got kicked because we were singlehandly destroying everybodies fun.

It's still somewhat active, on the 360 (possibly PC also) that is. But most people play on the vanilla maps. There are few player ran servers. Hardcore is non existent and if you want to player on DLC maps (Armored Kill, Back to Karkand, etc.) you're out of luck. Co-Op is active but very rarely you run into tactical players, likewise in multi player. The only game mode that has most of the players is Conquest, then Rush. TDM is a 3rd.

Griffin Faulkner Are we using Halo as the guide here? It was a weapon you could start with in Bf3, If my memory is correct. Also, Pick Ups are supposed to be OP, but with little ammo and drawbacks. Take Example, The Rocker Luncher is easy to miss with and you only spawn in with 4 rockets to use. The Sniper Rifle take skill to use, unless you're rapidly firing it from two feet away. In a game like Battlefield, I expected all these OP weapons to be hammered out in a week, not like Cod who took a total of eight months to patch the Care Package glitch.

phatrides222000 Because we don't want to all use the same gun. That'd be stupid. Each gun should have advantages AND disadvantages over other guns in it's class. Here's an idea. Let's all just have no OP guns. That sounds good. Where it's more skilled base instead of stronger guns that win battles. You've even told us that it didn't require skill or technique to be good with it. Where the non-skilled players suffer while the people who have it prosper.
