There is an option in settings where you can disable auto commands for objectives on spotting. I did that and it helps so much

Come on don't ruin the magic...also Simon spawn as the Commander and they neither figure it. Sometimes people also is blind, not watching the minimap or what kit their squadmates has... Trust me i saw many of them, too many to hate being in a squad of casual player. Better alone than carry an entire squad.

On pc, no idea, on PS hold down the button to being up the "request ammo" ect, when you're squad leader on the bottom of that menu will show objectives, can choose any objective as your order 👍

If I remember right, there is an option in the settings that you can turn this mechanic off. That way the only way to mark an objective is by holding the dialogue wheel and picking it.

I've been squad leader before. Literally nobody goes to the objectives I ping. On the flip side, I usually run for any objective a squad leader pings. Strength in numbers. Strength in teamwork.

I always hated squad lead. You either got a team of hardened seals doing a team building excersise and just are just having fun while you question every order you give these guys(that was a fun of bizarre encounter pretty sure they were just navy and were fucking with me) or you getva team of randoms who don't follow orders. Either way uoh end up questioning your life decisions. worst part is I almost always for some unknown reason ended up squad lead. The day I discovered how to make someone else squad lead was the best day of my life.

When I play BF4 I spam the fuck out of the spot button. And often enough I end up being squad leader so the attack/defend orders just get pinged around everywhere. I’ll attempt to put it on a specific objective that I want to. But it doesn’t stay long. They need to make a better system for how the squad leader places orders. I also think they should make a tutorial for all the multiplayer mechanics in BF. So you can’t be promoted to squad leader unless you’ve done that tutorial. Or get in the pilot seat of a helicopter until you’ve done a heli tutorial that teaches you basic flying mechanics.
