If you guys want a true battlefield experience today, I'd highly recommend checking out The Finals, which is a free to play gameshow-themed fps created by ex Dice devs, the veey devs who worked on bf4 and bf1. It definitely doesn't have the same tone as those battlefield games, but it has better destruction than ANY battlefield game.

Honestly, seeing the Russo-Ukrainian conflict, especially in a game and in this Battlefield fanart, really caught my attention. It's so well done. If the next Battlefield were to take place during the Russo-Ukrainian conflict, it would be extremely interesting. Respectfully, I think this could be an incredible setting for the game.

I think a big portion of the immersion I can feel in this trailer is the movement motion from the soldier running, that's how it looks like when you run specially with heavy gear on: uneven, heavy steps. The other thing that makes this great is the camera movement being shaky as you normally would when running, games like Bodycam captures this in a really nice way.

A modern day Ukraine vs Russia based Battlefield game would be a perfect way to bring back Battlefield Bad Company. Think about it. Going from a mostly comedic game series into a dark, undertone game about the struggle and cruelty of war. Basically a modern day All Quiet on the Western Front. Taking place after the Russian Invasion.

I'd prefer a Battlefield game similar. While I liked Battlefield 1,5, and 2042 it doesn't feel GRITTY. The soldier chatter was a big thing too that Battlefield 3 and 4 had in spades.
