We all sin after hearing the gospel, even when we are born again. Paul said why do I do the things I don't want to do. That passage in Hebrews that you qoueted was not for born again christians but for Jews who came over to the faith to check it out

I would be exceedingly careful about reading anything or watching anything that Joyce Meyers teaches, says, writes or promotes. Do a quick search of her and how her teachings line up, or not, with Scriptuure. Also, she has appeared many times with known false teachers. Just because a good pastor includes the phrase that sounds like one of the titles of a Joyce Meyer book doesn't mean he is promotoing that book. Please do your own homework on this. Hope this helps.

@@Colorado_Native Joyce Meyers book is awesome. I find her teachings very true scripturally. I can't see the Prophets, Disciples or even Jesus, but I hear their words and the Holy Spirit teaches me. If she's anything more or less, I do not need to know her personal life, that's for a much higher power to judge.

@@cindyrehder1164 Again, I would urge you to actually research what she is saying and coompare it to Scripture. Look at how Meyers says Jesus paid for our sins. She says it wasn't on the cross, but when He went into hell and then became the born again. Believe as you wish, but please, take 10 minutes and type into Google 'is Joyce Meters a false teacher'. It's more than her personal life, it's what she believes and teaches. My wife used to love Meyers, had every book, every tape, everything. Invest 10 minutes. You owe yourself that much. I saw a vision of a building. A few days later I saw it again , only more clearly. I asked God to show me more. I saw what I first thought was a gravestone and asked God to show me more. We entered the building and I saw people in jet black turbans knelling in an alter. I saw them as if I was there because in spirit I was. So I looked at the front of the alter to see what they were bowing to. I saw what I first thought was a gravestone but now saw it was a huge monument. I saw something move on the side. I looked up and on the monument sat a huge dragon like demon. On its head was a gold crown. God revealed to me that it was Baal and that he is ruling this world.

The building you entered was the average American "church" beware of the false churches, filled with false brethren and doctrine of demons. I've seen this Baal,(the false God of prosperity, who the nation of Israel contiually set up idols to in the history of the Old testament) in the "church" from West Virginia to Washington State. Merchandise tables selling t shirts, coffee and trinkets. Beginning service with praying for "checks in the mail" and money. Beware these "churches" are like the adulteress in the book of Proverbs , she sits on every corner, blowing kisses, hunting for the precious life, luring men into her house which is full of dead mens bones.

After how many years I realized none of those dreams were biblical or coming from God. The bible is sufficient and if you want to keep obeying demons, go right ahead. Just remember I've warned you. Find you a really good Bible preaching church. When the thoughts start coming turn to the Bible and find verses that talk about the mind. And start rebuking the enemy. Find a Christian counseling. Praying for everyone that has mental issues.

We go to an amazing solid church, praise God! The person I’m talking about is my husband. He’s been discipled by Christian men through out many years trying to help guide him in the right direction and giving him biblical tools to use but he finds it difficult to put it into practice. So he finds himself just stuck in his head constantly.. I don’t understand when somebody has been given so many opportunities and so much advice that they don’t want to make the effort of getting better. Me and my husband have been together for almost 22 years married almost 15 years. We have two daughters one will be an adult next March and our youngest will be 14 in September. Our daughters have suffered father wounds for very long and I’ve suffered through a very extremely challenging marriage. God, my children, and my small circle of Christian friends and family are the only thing that is keeping me going.

He will need the right dosage, therapy, good diet, exercise, a stable routine and also most importantly he will need to be the one who actually wants to get better and improve. Avoid believing too much in God healing him through prayer and fasting, maybe it works for some, but most people no. Just work on him being more aware and his willingness to get better. He'll be ok but it will take time and a deliberate effort

Where in the book of Daniel. In this book Daniel has prayed and prayed and prayed for an answer. When his answer finally comes through an angel, this Angel tells him his prayer was answered the first day he prayed but he had to battle a spirit in heaven to get answer to him. Spirits are very real.

But preachers, teachers, pastors are all held too a higher standard. So Lawson's self-known, willful immorality - while teaching about pure thoughts and right living - is a mockery of God's Holy Word.
